Time skip to when you're 17, its your last year of highschool and there's a month until school ends. Your mom died and you are her house guardian until you turn 18, which is in 3 months.

Its been a year since Ponyboy and I split. A year. We became very good friends. We were very close. I was off crutches. Believe me, my heart ached for him. I just wanted to kiss Pony and call him mine again, but that wasn't possible. Why? Because he was dating a greaser named Aciden (Ah-Ci-Den). She had jet black hair with cold, icy blue eyes. Her hair was completely straight and the length went down to the top of her chest. She had full, soft lips. She was beautiful and better than me. She was the same as Kaylen: every boy fell for her. Except those two gorgeous girls hated each other. Absolutely hated. Every time Aciden kissed Ponyboy, I screamed internally with anger mixed with sadness. But I locked my fragile heart up and threw the key into the deep murky waters of the sea. My hearts been jerked around so much I'm surprised its still beating.

The bell rang, queuing us that class had ended and it was time for the students to head to lunch. I quickly shuffled to my locker and entered my code, turning the lock till it opened. I threw my binder into my locker and shut my locker. I turned around as my heart sank, once more. Aciden was grabbing Pony by the collar of his shirt and was practically eating his face. I sighed and walked to the lunch room. I got my lunch and sat at my original spot. I was waiting for Kaylen when someone slipped into the seat across from me.

"Hey y/n!" Aciden chimed, her voice like silk.

"Oh hey, Aci." I looked up and smiled. She was a sweet girl, but she's the type that will turn on you at any second. Nothing like Kaylen

"I have great news!" She squeled

"And what is that?" I chuckled

"Cherry is leaving town for 2 months! I finally have Pony all to myself!" I frowned and poked at my food.

"That's great... Just I suggest you leave. Kay is gonna be here any second." I mumbled

"Oh but no! She'll just put up with me. I have so much to tell you!" She squeled one more.

"I said, Leave!" I yelled and stood up. I then slammed my hands on the table, creating a big boom sound. All eyes were on me.

"I-I thought we were friends..." She was hurt and guilt flushed over me.

"I-im sorry Aci. I'm just having a really bad day. I should've never yelled at you. " I walked over to her and hugged her. She hugged me back and smiled softly. Then she skipped over to Pony's table. I heard soft claps from behind. I turned around and say Kaylen. She was wearing a black shirt with blue jeans. Her hair was curled and of course, her brown eyes sparkled.

"It would've been better if you didn't apologize." She shrugged and sat next to me, stealing my fork from my hand and taking a bite of my food, then giving me back the fork.

"Just. I don't want her running and telling Pony. I really don't want him mad at me." I sighed and buried my face in my hands.

"Alright alright. Let's go." She grabbed me by the hand and we walked out the lunch room and out the doors of the school. We were ditching, and I didn't mind it. We walked to the DX station and saw Soda and Steve working on cars. Kaylen kissed Steve while I walked over to Soda.

"Does Pony actually really like Aciden? She's a bitch." I sighed and leaned on the gas pump

"Eh. He says she's clingy but they like each other." Soda wiped his hands on a dirty rag. He took a swig of his Pepsi then gave me the half draken bottle. I took a long drink from it. I handed it back to him.

"Why does he always go for the better, prettier girls? " I sighed

"You realize he doesn't love them as much as you? " soda narrowed his eyes and I rolled mine

"Enough with the cheesy love shit." I chuckled

"You realize you can just get them to break up. Its easy. You're just stupid." He ruffled my hair when a lightbulb went off in my head. I ran back to the school before the next class started. Kay would follow me if she wasn't so busy making out with Steve.

I slipped into the desk. It was English and I had this class with Pony and Aciden. Aciden sat next to me and Ponyboy sat in the other side of the room

"Psst. Y/n. You've went out with Ponyboy right?" Aci whispered and I nodded. "What does he like? I need tips."

"Pinch his cheeks. He loves that. Mess up his hair. It makes him feel cute. Call yourself ugly. He'll correct you and make you feel loved. When you're kissing him, lick the inside of his cheek. It turns him on." I smirked. I gave her a big fat lie. He hates every single one of those things. If she keeps it up, they'll break up. And besides, he's too shy to say he doesn't like that anyway.

My plan was working out perfectly.
