Chapter 16

I woke up surrounded by prickly grass. I looked around me and saw Pony, Johnny, and Two-Bit surrounding me.

"What?" I held my head "what happened?" I groaned.

"You fell off unconscious. Can't find the problem." Two-Bit looked at me, then grabbed my wrist and examined it.

"Whaaat are you doing" I raised a brow.

"Searching" He looked up at me, then back down at my wrist.

"You really worried us." Johnny said, stuffing his hands in his pockets.

"I'm fine, Johnnycake" I gave him a reassuring smile and stood up and dusted my pants off. I walked over to Pony and put my hands on his cheeks and kissed his lips. I pulled away smiling and grabbed his hand.

"Let's go to my house. I have chocolate cake." I looked at Two-Bit as his eyes lit up. We walked home, cracking jokes and insulting each other. I opened my front door as everyone piled in. I turned on the radio and went to the kitchen to get the cake. I brought it over and sat it on the coffee table. I gave everyone a fork as they dug in. I got a few board games.

"Were gonna take entertainment the way I enjoy spending it. Watching movies and playing board games. I brought out my favorites. Monopoly and a few others. I'm very good at all of them" I smirked then reached over and used my finger to wipe off chocolate from the corners of Ponys mouth.

"Aww y/n, why we gotta be so boring and play with this? We should be gettin' drunk!" Two-Bit groaned

"No, some of us don't like to drink. We are spending SOBER time together." I glared and set up monopoly. After an hour, Pony fined me almost all my money. I rage quitted and flipped the board over.

"Someone's mad because they lost." Pony gave me a kissy face and I rolled my eyes playfully. I cleaned up and threw on my shoes and jacket. We walked to the Curtis' house because everyone was home from work. We walked in.

"I'm here, bitches!" I yelled and kicked my shoes off, walking to the kitchen. Darry was making dinner and Soda was arm wrestling with Steve on the table. I walked behind Soda and messed up his hair, then pinched his cheeks softly, making him lose.

"Damn you y/n!" He smirked and put me in a headlock. I bit his arm and he let me go. I opened my arms and he came and hugged me. We pulled away and I pat Steve's head like a dog. I poked Darry and walked back to Pony on the couch. He threw an arm around me and I put my head on his shoulder. We were watching something on TV. I didn't pay attention to that. I kept my eye on Johnny. He was acting strange. He was quiet and hiding in the corner. I guess that's how he always acted. I shook it off and shifted my position to where my head was on Pony's lap as he played with my hair. The boys were all in the kitchen, goofing around.

"Ponyboy?"

"Yes?"

"I love love love love love love love love you!"

"I love you too, so much"

I sat up and side wrapped my arms around Pony and kissed him passionately. I pulled away and returned back to my spot on his lap. I drifted to sleep.
I woke up on the floor covered in blankets with Pony's chest on my back, his arm slung around my body. The house was dark. How did I not wake up? I turned around and looked at Ponyboys sleeping form. I studied his face. I kissed his lips very lightly and whispered:

"You're beautiful, Ponyboy. The best part is? You're mine. " I smirked and fell back into a peaceful slumber.
