Jared: Hey, Trevor asked me for your number. I guess its for your sister. All cool?

Me: No. She didn't take it well.

Jared: That's sad. If you wanna speak, I am there.

Me: I know that. I feel bad for Allison. :(

Jared: Don't worry. It will take some time. I guess something major happened between them, right?

Me: Yeah.

Jared: Hmm. How come I have never met you or heard about you before? Trevor never spoke about you both.

Me: I don't know. You study in a different school, I guess that's why.

Jared: Yeah...maybe. Plus, we are not that close. We just meet at special occasions. And then he transferred to Ohio and all communication ended.

Me: Hmm.

Jared: Though I wish I had met you before. We could spend more time together. The cousins dating the twins. ;)

Me too Jared. Then, I need not don a fake identity. I would be Allison and he would be just Jared. The burden of lies would not suffocate me.

Stop. Oh god, I didn't love him. I liked him, right? Yes, my heart had gone ka-boom when I first saw him but love? Again, he was going too far. I was too young to fall in love. It was simply a crush, an infatuation.
