• Christian •There are many perks to having rich parents. Because my father donates a ton of money to the school, I can basically get away with anything. It doesn't hurt that my family funded the building of the school.
The principal wants to keep me happy, so I got to choose the classes I wanted to take this year and how my schedule is laid out. I planned my whole schedule to match up with a certain someone.
A certain auburn-haired, emerald-eyed boy. One that goes by the name Evan Reed. I have know Evan since the start of freshman year. There is something about the guy that draws me to him.
Being the amazing guy I am, I also tried my best to make sure Evan's best friend was in the same classes as him. Makayla, or whatever her name is. It wasn't hard to do, she needed the same classes as him anyway.
I also may or may not have made it to where his precious girlfriend had as many classes without him as possible. They will have plenty of time together when they're married with a bunch of red-headed, freckle-faced kids running around. Evan doesn't have freckles, but his girlfriend does. All over her fucking face.
When the bell rings for break I make my way to the courtyard where me and my friends hang out. Dean and Sawyer are already sitting on top of one of the wooden picnic tables, surrounded by girls and a few other guys.
"Hey, man." Dean greets when he sees me walking towards the table. The people crowding around it move over to make a path for me. Some of them greet me as well and I shoot them a killer smile.
Sawyer looks up from the busty blond he's talking to when he notices my presence.
"Sup, Christian." He says with a smirk, one that I know is because of the blond. He's probably planning to get laid tonight. It is Friday, after all. He probably invited her to his party tonight.
The rest of break goes by so slow. I hate having all these people crowding around me. I want to talk to my friends but I can't really do that with all these people. I can't talk about the stuff I want to, anyway.
I start walking back to class and Dean catches up to me. I look over at him with a raised eyebrow. He's got this knowing smile on his face.
"What is it?" I ask, my voice coming out annoyed. He raises both of his eyebrows and his grin widens.
"I would be a little more polite if I were you. I have a bit of information you might be interested in." He teases. I give him a deadpan look and he holds both hands up in surrender.
"Okay, okay." He says. "I heard Evan and Hannah talking last period before you came in. He's taking her on a date tonight to her favorite restaurant."
"Hmm. What a coincidence. I just so happen to be going there on a date tonight too." I say thoughtfully and Dean snickers.
"What a coincidence indeed. Who exactly are you going on a date with?" He asks.
"Not sure yet." I answer with a shrug of my shoulders. Dean shakes his head with a smirk on his face.
We part ways as I get to my next class. So I have the rest of the day to find a date. Shouldn't be too hard.

It wasn't hard figuring out which restaurant is Hannah's favorite. I know a lot of people and Hannah isn't exactly a loner. It was extremely easy finding someone who knows her and knows her favorite places. Most people at the school want to be on my good side. They want to be in the 'in-crowd'.
Finding a date was too easy. There are too many girls trying to pimp theirselves out to me. A lot of girls that would do anything to be popular. To be noticed.
And that's exactly what this girl will be. She'll be the talk of the school for actually going on a date with me. It's definitely not a common thing for me to take girls out. I can't even remember the last time I did, if I ever even have. I'm not interested in being in a relationship with a girl. They're too much work.
I pull open the door to the cute little Italian restaurant and the girl smiles coyly at me, walking into the building. She didn't even say thank you. I roll my eyes and follow her in.
I look around for Evan, but it doesn't seem like he's here yet. That's fine, even better actually. It gives me time to get friendly with this girl.
She's a beautiful girl, there's no doubt about it. She would have to be to go on a date with me. Her eyes are a dark blue and she has long brown hair that falls to the middle of her back. I'm sure it's dyed, but it still looks good. I can tell she's wearing makeup, but not too much that she looks like a clown.
We follow our waiter to a booth and I sit down. He gives us menus and asks what we want to drink. The girl, Karen, slides into the booth next to me. That irritates me. I don't see why people would sit like that on a date. I'd like to actually be able to look at who I'm with without having to turn my head.
"Karen, why don't you sit on the other side." I suggest, trying to keep my tone polite.
"But I wanna be close to you." She pouts, putting her hand on the top of my thigh. She starts to slide it up and down but I stop it and grab it in my hand.
"I would like to be able to see your beautiful face better." I tell her, still holding her hand.
"Okay!" She agrees happily. I let go of her hand and she moves to the other side.
The waiter comes back and we give him out orders. I look up just in time to see Evan and Hannah being led to a booth. I smirk and look back at my date. This might just be fun.
I play it up, putting my hand on top of Karen's and stroking it with my thumb. I don't look over at Evan, pretending like I don't know that he's here. Pretending like he isn't on my mind at all.
A little bit later I make eye contact with Evan. I keep my expression blank while he sends me a glare before turning back to his girlfriend. It's a bit of a struggle trying not to smirk.
Karen talks nonstop the rest of the date and I'm glad when Evan and Hannah finally leave. That means I can leave. Which it's not like I'm really stopping the date early. We've been here long enough.
