• Christian •I was more nervous than I've ever been. I wanted our first date to be great, but I wasn't really sure what to do. In the past, I've never really had to plan a real date. Sure I've taken girls out and I've even been on a few dates with guys, but I never cared if they really liked it or not. I've always just taken them to dinner or a movie and it hasn't mattered. With Evan, though, it does.
I've never given my dates flowers before either. Of course the pink roses were kind of a joke, but still. I've never wanted to give any of them flowers, but I passed a flower stand and I felt the urge to buy some for Evan. I didn't want to seem so mushy, so I got the girly-est ones I could; so it wouldn't seem as serious, I guess.
My hands are sweating as I grip the steering wheel of my car. I glance over at Evan to see him looking out of the window as I drive. It's about 10:00pm now and all the stars are out, no clouds blocking them from our vision. I sort of wanted that to be the case. I've always loved stargazing and I guess I maybe wanted to share that with Evan.
He may think it's lame though...
Come on, Christian, get yourself together, I think to myself. It's just a date, you've got this. You're Christian Lockwood, after all. Handsome, rich, and smart.
I actually scoff out loud at my thoughts. If only Evan could hear them, he'd think I'm a narcissistic asshole. Well, he might already think that.
"Dude, where are we going?" Evan questions from my side. I turn his way and he's already looking at me, eyebrows raised.
I bite down on my lip and look back towards the dirt road we're on. It's surrounded by trees and pitch black, so I get why he's questioning.
"Well, I know that you are probably not entirely comfortable with being with a guy in public yet, so I set something up out here for our date." I say and when I don't hear an answer from him, I look over worriedly.
"What? You don't like it?" I question, feeling my cheeks actually heat up at how desperate I just sounded. Evan's just looking at me, an emotion I can't identify shining in his eyes.
"Thank you. That's very, uh, thoughtful." He finally answers, a small smile on his face.
A smile forms on my own face and I finally stop the car at the end of the little road. I pull off to the side and let out a breath, parking the car and then turning it off.
"So here we are." I say, opening my door and getting out of the car. I slam the door shut and look over the top of it at Evan.
Walking around the car, I take his hand in mine. Evan looks from our intertwined hands to my face, smiling cheekily.
"You just can't get enough of touching me, can you?" He jokes.
I nod my head seriously. "I really can't."
Evan looks away shyly and I begin to lead us away from the car and to the spot I set up. We pass through a bunch of trees before we get to a small clearing.
Before I came to pick him up, I laid a large black blanket on the ground and left the picnic basket I packed sitting on top of it. There's also a bottle of champagne and two glasses, but that's for later.
I sit down on the blanket and pull Evan down with me. "So what do you think?" I ask, looking over at him, my voice more hopeful than what I want to admit.
"It's great, Christian. The stars are so beautiful." He says in amazement, tilting his head back to look up at the night sky.
I watch him with a smile, happy that he seems to like it so much. "I'm glad you think so."

Hours later, me and Evan were laughing under the starry night sky, a half empty bottle of champagne next to us.
I smile happily, laying down. I look over at Evan who has done the same. "Soooo, what did ya tell your mom and dad?"
Evan sighs, blinking quickly a bunch of times. "Um. I told them I was staying at Kenzie's."
I nod my head, looking towards the sky and then back at him. "So we can stay out here all night?"
"Mhm. But it's kinda cold." He says. My eyes widen and I move closer to him.
"I'm sorry! I'm so dumb, I didn't think about that." I tell him apologetically. He smiles and I scoot even closer, cuddling against his side. "I'll keep you warm."
Evan laughs quietly and moves onto his side, putting his arms around me. I'm scooted lower than him, so I'm the one who has to tilt my head up for our lips to connect. It's a passionate kiss and I can taste the champagne on his tongue, which only serves to turn me on more.
Evan slips his tongue past my parted lips, dominating my mouth. I can't have that, though, so I roll us over; Evan on his back with me hovering over him. I tease him by pulling my mouth away from his. He whines in the back of his throat and tries to sit up to claim my lips again, but I keep him pinned down.
I lean forward and softly lick across his lips, before biting down on his lower lip. Evan gasps and I sneak my tongue into his mouth. He taste so good and I can't get enough of him.
Eventually we stop making out and go back to snuggling under the stars. Evan falls asleep first, with soft snores escaping his mouth and it isn't long until I follow.

A/N: hiya :))) So this chapter was really easy to write, but it's also the shortest one so far. Oh well.
Let me know what you think? No matter when you read this, 2 months or 2 years from now. I'll probably still be on here. Lol.
