Chapter 6-Party time!

Callie's POV

Whoever decorated this party needs a round of applause because it looks amazing! The streamers hang perfectly, there is just enough of each color,and the food is the right choices. I was too busy helping Paige time her swim. She is getting faster and faster! Patrick tried...he needs work.

I grab a soda can and head over to the living room where people are talking and dancing to music. This looks fun!
Vanessa sits there with a evil smirk on her face and I sit down beside her and laugh. "What is that look for?"I question.

"I need to get Vincent back tonight. I noticed he hated diet soda...like can't stand it. I think I have my plan!"She announces to me and hold up her pointer finger. I laugh.

"Good luck. I hope he gets what he deserves! I don't know what he did,but yeah! Team Earth girl power!"I shout. The music is so loud though no one was able to hear me except Vanessa. Vanessa laughs and looks at me funny.

"Have you been with Tess? She said that earlier?"She asks and I shake my head. I guess we earth woman think alike. "Eh I think I am going to start my plan,"She says standing up and walking of. I sit here wiggling my water and tossing it around. Should I go find someone else to talk to or what? Decisions....decisions....what to do. I get up and walk over to Collin and Sonya and I hear that they are talking about Tess. Well the Autumn and Tess feud that everyone knows about. Apparently the two of them had a rough history and pass.

"Hey nice party right?"I ask trying to start a conversation.
Collin smiles at me and nods and takes a sip of his soda.

"Yeah. I mean besides the fact that Mrs.Astro is running around like a crazy woman trying stop people from doing crazy things,yeah. She is such a party pooper!"He exclaims shaking his head and Sonya nods and takes out her phone.

"Yeah,it is only 9:00 and people are going all out,"She says looking down at her phone in amusement. She lets out a small laugh. "These people can't handle anything!"She says bluntly.

"Hey! I can't handle to much hard core stuff either! Like they are all taking shots! Not a good idea,I am not good with that stuff so I don't do it,"I admit shrugging and telling the truth.

"Yeah we can tell from you likes and dislikes,"Collin informs me. Wow am I really that basic. I shrug and I suddenly feel like dancing. Collin and Sonya join me and we begin to dance. There are five other people dancing so there is a lot of bumping and group dancing right now. I accidentally know into Shelby and then a minute later I fall into Clayton who is just laughing and actually of his phone! This is a rare moment.

Lyla and Aden are both singing some hard core karaoke. Lyla is really good but I am really hoping Aden is doing this for fun because he isn't the best! Which is perfectly fine by me. As long as people are having fun! Right? The music slowly starts to get turned down and Luke,who is keeping track of the music begins to speak. "Hello everybody! I hope you are enjoying yourself tonight! It definitely won't be that last! Mrs.Astro would like to say a few words,"He says handing her the microphone and we all give some awkward claps. We don't like her that much yet,she is really annoying sometimes.

"Thank you,all twenty-four of you! Not that you had a choice,but I am glad none of you are hating this that much,well at least not as much as you would think. As much as you guys have been having fun for the last couple days,it is time to start to get to work and focus on the real reason you are here. Our first real mission with be this Monday. We will plan tomorrow night! Before you all start complaining-you might actually like it! I mean you get to have some action! This is why you were brought here! I know you can all do it,"She announces making the room fill with murmurs and whispers. A mission. Interesting. I hope it is at least easy. I mean we just started out! We can't take anything to hard yet.

I go and sit down back on the couch. I had enough dancing for now and honestly her speech has me thinking about Monday now. None of us should die right? She wouldn't let that happen! Would she? Can she even control that? I know she would at least wait until we are more experienced to send us on more life risking missions and stuff to do. Okay now I am not so sure I am happy I am here. I was actually having fun! Her words and news just ruined it! Well,thanks a lot! I sigh.

"Do you think she will send of all of us?"Gavin asks Autumn who is sitting next to me. Autumn shrugs and gives him a weird look. How is she supposed to know that? Just as I am about to say that she says the words on my mind.

"How am I supposed to know? I know just as much information as you? I mean probably because it is our first one and she wants to teach and train all of us,"Autumn says smacking him in the head lightly and he nods at his stupidity.

"Yeah I guess that was a stupid question,"Gavin admits. I laugh to myself and get up to get some food. I am suddenly very hungry. When I walk in the kitchen Ariel and Logan are talking next to the fridge. They see me and stop talking. What? I am sorry,were you trying to talk in private? W- wait a minute,I already know that answer. Never Mind. I grab a plate,a piece of Pizza and leave the kitchen as quickly as possible. I didn't want to make it more awkward then it already was. When I walk back into the living room there is a loud scream from a male voice. I look to see everybody looking at Vincent who is spitting out soda and coughing like crazy. Wow,he really hates it that much! People start laughing and so do I. Vanessa stands up and starts laughing really hard at Vincent's reaction to her revenge. She claps her hands.

"That is what you get for rubbing a balloon on my head when you know it took an hour to finally tame!"She shouts and everybody starts laughing and smirking at Vincent.

"Shame one you!"Crystal says shaking her head and laughing.

"I am sorry! You basically gave me Poison though! That is not acceptable!"Vincent shouts and Vanessa starts laughing again.

"Now we're even."She simply replies crossing her arms.

People are still laughing and dying but some thoughts starting hitting me on how Monday all the jokes will be gone.I can't stop thinking about this mission now. Will I be okay? Will the mission itself go okay? So many questions that I am just going to have to wait and see. This will be a long weekend.
