Chapter 20-We Split and act idiotic!

Collin's POV

"Patrick not again!"I sigh and this time it isn't Ariel with the dirty shoes. He turns red of embarrassment and looks up. "Look I know you get bad motion sickness but try to control it,"I tell him and he sighs and leans back up.

"I am sorry,"He apologies and I sigh.

"It's okay,"I say trying to get over the fact that I have barf all over my feet. Mrs.Astro presses a button and all of a sudden a big piece of paper towel shoots down from the top of this bus.

"Was that always there?"I question.

"We installed that because of last time,"She tells us. "I was right, it is very useful,"She admits smiling at Patrick as he looks guilty.

We have landed so I quickly get out get bus and begin to clean up my shoes. As I do so, Mrs.Astro comes out with an announcement. Here we go, the moment we find out what the heck she wants us to do.

"So what is the agenda today?"Shor asks so bored and irritated with life.

"Missions aren't going to be jokes and games anymore. Missions are now serious and you have to start really getting used to them. Some might eventually up being deadly,"She informs us and we all give each other careful glances. Some of worry, some of interest, and some of anger.

"We didn't come here to die you know!"Gavin shouts and we all look at him. Usually it is Luke to make a comment like that but he stats quiet and looks at Gavin like the rest of us.

"I didn't pick you guys you know! The stars picked you!"She defends. Gavin shuts up for a second and sighs.

"You expect us to just give up our lives like that? Um no thank you!"Shor asks getting louder and louder by the minute. Mrs.Astro just nods and sighs.

"Yes,"She states.

"That is ridiculous!"Luke finally shouts just to be a part of the arguing. I always liked Mrs.Astro a little bit but now she is really starting to annoy me. Not telling us about how deadly this life was going to be like. I guess getting powers has its highs and lows.

"I know,but that is the risk you have to take. You guys are the leaders of your constellations, you must show honor and pride even if you don't want,"She explains to us.

"Why?"Shor asks crossing his arms.

"People already want you dead. People are already after you. You have to keep those who like you happy,"She responds. This is all to much for is sixteen year olds to handle. I mean I don't see other teens going on "magical" bus and risking their lives so they don't get murdered. Either way it sounds like we might all die.

"So what are we doing here?"Gavin asks growing a little impatient again. I guess we gave up fighting for our lives and ended up giving in.

"We are splitting up. Your mission is to collect a stone, this is another training one but much more serious. You will be out in groups, you will have to work together and use your powers to find it and to get it,"She explains the process and we all nod.

"What does stones have to do with any of this?"Sonya asks for the first time. This is the first time she has asked a question like this.
