Chapter 12-Relaxation time and Bye Bye

Sonya's POV

After both groups were settled in from yesterday I knew that I already needed a break from half of them. I just want to relax today and I hope that she won't send us on some surprise mission. If I were a little more sneaky and mischievous like Shor I would totally try to use my powers and get those to work. I mean think about all the pranks I could do if I were to turn invisible. Honestly if I were you I would be scared of me. Geminis too because they can read minds and um...my mind is a place that I keep all my thoughts contained.

Sense my options are varied in this place I have narrowed my options down to a few. The cinema r-wait no I heard most of the house was going there. Never Mind I wanted a more peaceful area with only maybe a few people. Alright well that happened so I am either going swimming or outside to find something to do. I think I am just gonna go outside. Maybe I will try to figure out these powers just a little bit to get an idea. I mean this should be extremely interesting for me.

I walk out the back of the house and into the gigantic yard. My mission is accomplished because I only see three people out here. Like I said if I went to the Cinema room I would have seen probably fifteen people in there. Not what I want. People get on my nerves to much. Don't get me wrong I love having friends but I am not too close with anyone here yet and I am not going near Gianna or Gavin anytime soon.

Ariel is trying to skip rocks, I guess that could be relaxing. Her power is water though and I don't want a water mishap to ruin my day if water accidentally soaks me. Crystal is reading on a blanket with sun glasses. Roomie! I could go scare her! No. She is actually one of my closer friends because Paige doesn't understand a lot of things I do. I mean Paige is kind and my friend and all but I don't get as annoyed with Crystal. Reason I said as is because I get annoyed with everyone a lot. Some people way more than others but I think you see my point. I love to socialize actually but I also need relaxation time.

I walk down a little further and now I fully see what Tanner is doing. He is kicking a soccer ball. Yeah no I am wearing sandals and I got sweaty enough yesterday, I don't need another workout. I know Tanner wouldn't be the easiest person to just kick a ball around with. I know how he loves his soccer and for me to make a fool out of myself with it and dishonor his favorite sport might get me killed in my sleep. I mean with being able to do five things at once it would be extremely easy. Not only that but I don't know when he will unlock the power and it could trigger any moment.

I think I am just gonna take a little walk around the small track. I said small track because there is a medium track and a large track as well. I wonder if she will ever make us run these. I mean she told us this morning that we will start to have some regular classes and Zodiac classes. I am not ready for that yet. My life is going to get so busy once I start school work and mission work. I am definitely going to need decompressing time so I don't tear some heads off.

"Hey Sonya!"I hear a quiet but strong male voice approach me from behind. I turn to see Patrick standing next to me.

"Hey Patrick! If I accidentally snap at you in the next three minutes I am sorry I am just not ready for people yet,"I tell him trying to persuade and make him realize what I am trying to say. Which in more brutal words is-Get away from me. I am not going to say that though because Patrick is chill and cool.

"Yet? When are you ever?"He questions raising an eyebrow and I do too. "Don't worry I am just joking with you I get what you mean. They can be crazy sometimes,"He confirms his joke and I nod at him smiling a little. He is okay...I guess. Stop all thoughts about shipping immediately he is my friend!

"Yeah. So umm.."

"Ooh I gotcha!"He says and runs off towards Tanner. I always find him interesting. All I had to say was that one sentence and he understood. I wish more people were like him. Then maybe my attitude towards people would be a lot better.

I continue to walk around a little bit. I think I am going to go in a few minutes to go get something to eat for lunch. My stomach is stating to crave some fuel to go on. I totally skipped breakfast this morning because I had a headache. I know it wasn't the best idea because it is an important meal of the day but I just couldn't do anything. I needed to be in a dark room with the lights off. Unfortunately for me no one was willing to bring food to my room. What friends I have right! Hey! In this house you get your own and it is a battle . I mean food is what makes some of these people go insane. Not me.

I might go insane over other things though. I am also one of the quieter ones around here and like to observe. Observing is usually better than taking part in the conversation. I can see why. Some people don't shut up and it is the reason I have ear plugs. Wow I sound like I really hate people. I don't hate them. Yet. I am just k-okay I am not but still! I need time to decide who I like and who I don't like and in the end my best friend will still be my food and sleep. I sound like Tess right now. She and I can be very similar sometimes.

I still want to try out my powers I just don't know how I would do that. Is it a mind thing? Or is it something that will just happen and one day I will look in a mirror and see nothing. She said we have to learn by out next mission. Incase some people missed that, and I honestly forgot she said it, last night she said it would be unexpected. Sounds lovely right!

I look down and my stomach starts to rumble. Yup it is time to go in. I make my way inside and I sigh when I see the sight. The board is out. The clipboard for missions is out! I haven't discovered how to use my power yet though! This better be good Mrs.Astro, this better be go, I am not missing food for this if this sucks. I will physically glue myself to the ground.

"I see you have noticed the clipboard! Well that is because this evening we will be going on a mission together!"
