Willow was typing as fast as her hands would let her. After a change of clothes and a shower, Willow felt refreshed enough to share her story. She quickly wrote down her encounter with HYDRA and what they were trying to do. She typed out all the names of her captors, the ones that she remembered anyways and the ones she had heard around her. She needed this to be as accurate as possible.
As she wrote, there was a knock at her door. Willow was confused by this. A knock? Who was coming to visit? Maybe it was one of the girls form the office. They must have been worried about her. Upon arriving home, Willow found several notes from them on the floor of the apartment. They had been slipped under the door. All of them asked how she was and to call if she needed anything. She didn't need anything yet. Willow stood up to answer the door.
Looking out through the small peephole, Willow saw a women she had never seen before. She had her hair curled slightly and was fixing the hem of her jacket, glancing out across the way. She looked refined and almost noble. Confused, Willow opened the door. The women turned and nodded to Willow.
"Ms. Peterson?"
"Yes, who are you?" This women somehow knew her name. That was odd.
"I'm Peggy Carter, a friend of Steve's." Willow opened the door wider, smiling.
"Peggy, yes he told me about you. But what are you doing here?" Peggy cleared her throat and produced a letter from her bag. "Is this from Steve."
"Yes, the top letter is but Willow..."
"Oh this is wonderful! Is he coming home soon? Is that what you're here to tell me?" Willow asked excitedly, tearing open the letter.
"Ms. Peterson." Peggy said, stepping into the apartment.
"Oh please, call me Willow." She insisted, waving Peggy's formalities away.
"Willow, the second letter." She paused. "I'm here to inform you that.." Willow paused in reading Steve's letter. He had spoken of going after HYDRA alone. Saving the country. No. No. No. No. "Willow there really is no easy way to say this.."
"He's dead." Willow whispered. With a sigh, Peggy stepped forward.
"We're not positive Willow, we're looking for him. He crash landed an airplane into the ocean. We're trying to search for it. Nothing is set in stone." Trying not to cry, Willow finished reading Steve's final letter to her. Her hands were shaking.
"He went in even though he knew it might kill him." Willow said in a hard voice.
"He was doing what he thought was right." Peggy touched her arm gently. With aggression, Willow pushed her away.
"You let him go!" Willow shouted. The windows blew out, glass scattering but it didn't fall. The glass hovered in midair around Willow. Everything was shaking then.
"Ms. Peterson?" Peggy exclaimed in wonder staring at the scene before her. Did Steve know she could do this? Willow was scared. What was happening. Was she doing this?
"Stop it! Stop Peggy!" Willow cried out in fear.
"It's.. It's not me. I think it's you.." Willow yelled as the glass fell down then, shattering further upon hitting the floor. The room was still shaking though.
