I'm standing on the curb that Zach asked me to meet him at. I yawn. It's 9 AM. I didn't quite get any sleep last night since I was mostly excited for this event. He said he'd come at 9:10. Well, it's 9:15, so where is he?

After another long 5 minutes, Zach still hasn't shown up. I'm beginning to get worried. A little part of me is worried for his well-being and the other part is tension from being stood up. I can feel tears form around my eyes. I clutch the buttons of my brown coat tight, trying to uphold them back. I let go and let out a sigh. My breath is visible. Like a white puff of smoke. I scoff.

"Who needs him when he's going to not show up," I whisper and move my gaze towards the frozen ground. "It was probably just a joke." I start to walk away from the spot. Suddenly, I hear a honk. I whip my head towards the sound. Standing at the curb where I originally was was Zach.

"Well?" He said. He looked stunning. Nice for once. I smile. I see a goofy grin form on his face. I bet mine is ten times larger.

The park was adorned with fake snowflakes, snow, and ice. It was like entering an ice palace. It had opened already. We had missed the grand opening. I didn't mind.

"This is the entertainment park," Zach said, gesturing towards the divine place.

"Woah. It's beautiful." I breathed out. I was just so mesmerizing.

Zach let out a small chuckle. I snap out of my admiration gaze and we walk in.

"It only opens on November," Zach informs. "It's like a winter version of Disney Land." Does he still remember my trips to Disney Land? How much I loved that place?

For the first time, I laughed. I had fun. I hung out with Zach. Felt alive, animated and joyful. My happiness wasn't interrupted by some obnoxious bully. We went on carousels, tea cups, the Ferris wheel, and so much more. Blushes and cheers were shared. The joy I had was beyond describable.

"Thanks for all of this," I say when I get to my front door.

"Your welcome." He replies.

"And sorry for ya know- almost killing you," I respond sheepishly. Zach chuckled and I giggled reminded of what had happened. He shrugged it off.

"I-I better go in now."

"Yea," Zach says. Before I walk into my house, I am pulled around by Zach and the most remarkable and unexpected thing happened.

His lips were on mine. They mold together like we were meant to be. Like two jig-saw puzzles finally being put synchronically after so much frustration. I kissed back after my 1 second of shock. Did he like me? I don't know whether or not to confirm it. But I'll just enjoy it while it lasts.
