Hey, :(
School's gonna start soon and I'm pretty upset because I won't be able to update my stories on time. But I'll try and update. I'm trying to get this story to finish fast. Anyway here's the chapter...
ENJOY...
Ray's Pov
It was a bright day outside. Well, everyday was a bright day. But still, the sun was shining and there were beautiful wisps of clouds in the calm blue sky and a really cool breeze. It was perfect weather for a... picnic.
"Ash?" I called absentmindedly.
He was walking alongside me and playing with his shirt nervously. He winced every once a while as if every movement hurt him and I felt strangely protective over him. I wanted to ease all his pain. Why was I feeling like this? Then there were the butterflies in my stomach. His mere presence was enough for my stomach to be invaded by butterflies.
"Yeah?" he asked, stopping. I stopped too and said,
"Other than Aze do you have any other siblings?"
He heaved a sigh a relief. "I thought it was something really important," he said.
"Answer my question."
"Well, I'm the eldest, then there's Aze and then Ada and then Ace."
"Big family."
"Yeah. I do have a pretty big family. I just wish I can see them."
"Why don't you go, then?"
Ash gave me a sad smile and said, "I can't meet my parents. They're in a hospital in a coma."
Okay, I admit, this was very confused. I thought Ash's were parents were at home? Aze had said something about his mom not knowing he was with Ash, so...
"I know you're confused. Well, let's see. Aze, Ada and Ace now live with one of my aunts. They moved recently as I told you before and I don't know where they went. They call my aunt, mom and my uncle, dad. Just like that."
"So, what about your real parents? What happened to them?" I questioned, while starting to walk. Ash walked alongside me and answered,
"They got in a car accident. They were driving to somewhere in the night and didn't see where they were going. A truck came and crashed into them. Pretty cliche. This truck hitting thing happens a lot to a lot of people. Well, after that accident, my parents got into a deep coma. The doctors said that they were trying hard to wake my parents but the chances were minimal. They are in some hospital now and I don't even know how they are. It's been two years since I saw them."
Two years?! "What the hell?!" I exclaimed.
"Steve and Linda didn't allow me to enter the hospital. So, I couldn't meet my parents. They informed the hospital to not let me in. I can't meet my parents even if I want to."
Oh. "Why exactly were you thrown out of your house?" I asked.
"My dad and I got into a fight. It wasn't about me being gay. Actually, my parents were pretty cool about it. My dad was angry with me because he thought that I was the one killed a girl in in my middle school."
What the hell is going on here? "What do you mean?" I gave him an incredulous look.
"It was Steve who killed her. He told my dad it was me. My dad believed him. I told him that it wasn't me. I begged him to listen to me. He never did. He threw me out of the house. The police caught me and I spent a few days in the police station. It was ugly there. I couldn't sleep properly. There was blood on the walls.
