Ray's Pov
I was literally glowing with happiness. He said that he loved me. He really did. I could see it in his eyes. They expressed happiness, joy, affection, and most of all, love. They were so beautiful to watch. Those green, twinkling eyes staring into my eyes and only mine. And I wanted it to stay that way.
A knock on the door interrupted us and startled us so much, we toppled to the ground with a huge thud. I groaned and pulled myself up. The knocking grew louder and then stopped. For a while, there was no sound and then the knocking resumed.
I grabbed Ash's hand and slowly walked to the door. I opened it cautiously and saw that it was...
"Sky!" Ash laughed. He pulled his hand gently from my grasp and hugged her. Sky had a huge smile on her face as she hugged him back. She winked at me and I smirked back at her.
"How's my little brother?" she said, ruffling Ash's hair.
Ash grinned. "I got tortured, then kissed, then seduced, then kidnapped and you're asking me how I am?"
Sky's eyes widened and she turned to glare at me, "Ash was kidnapped and you didn't even bother to tell me?"
I shrugged. "I was lying on the ground bleeding. I couldn't do anything. And anyway, he came back and that's what matters."
Sky's eyes softened and she gave me a small smile. I felt happy; all was well again. Or not.
"So, why were you knocking on the door?" I asked, scratching my back. It felt itchy there. I didn't know why though. It had started when Ash and I were brought here.
Sky frowned and then said, "I'm expecting something bad to happen now. The kids are at school and we three are alone right now. Mom and Dad won't be back in a few days. We're totally alone and absolutely not prepared for an attack. You never know, the Triplets might attack you guys again."
I frowned too and Ash just looked bewildered. I ran a hand through his hair and pulled him closer to me. He leaned into my touch and stood there, leaning heavily on me.
"We should get going now," Sky continued. "We need to go to the-"
A big crash interrupted whatever she was about to say next. She whirled around in panic and tried to locate the sound. Ash was looking around with wide eyes. The sound had come from somewhere close. Too close.
"Well, well, if it isn't precious Ray and of course, Ash," a voice said mockingly. "Didn't know that I would crash into your house like this. Sorry."
I whirled around and saw a tall man. He was about 6'4 and had a muscled body. He was pale and his black eyes only stood out more because of his pale features. He had the weirdest hair colour though. It was a bright green.
He was wearing casual clothes but he didn't even look an inch like a casual man. In fact, he looked like a stupid murderer.
"Who are you?" I asked through gritted teeth.
