Ray's Pov

"Stop," Ash muttered, staring down at his feet. I didn't know what he was about to say but that didn't matter. My boyfriend wants to talk to me and I would listen. I love him and he loves me. It's the best thing in the world.

"What's wrong?" I asked, placing my hands on his cheeks. He blushed and looked up. His green eyes were glimmering.

"What if we don't get through this? What if we die, Ray?" Ash's voice was trembling.

"We won't," I said, sincerely. And I believed it. We wouldn't die. We could have died so many times before and now it wouldn't happen. It couldn't happen.

"I'm sorry, you know," Ash mumbled. I raised an eyebrow but hugged him anyway. He returned my embrace and then spoke into my chest, his hot breath fanning it.

"I'm sorry I hurt you. I didn't... I don't know what. I'm just so sorry."

"You shouldn't be sorry, Ash. I should be the one who's sorry. I did all those things to you. I hurt you so badly. I'm a horrible person. I don't want to hurt you anymore, Ash. You don't deserve it. Hell, I don't deserve you. But I love you. I love you."

His hug was turning tighter and I could hear his small whispers in my ears. "I love you. I love you. I love you."

"Come on, let's go," I whispered.

"What about Ryan and Ariel? And Cray?" Ash asked, looking up at me.

"We're going alone. I don't want to pull them into this," I replied and tugged him along the path.  "They've gone through enough."

"We've gone through enough," Ash whispered but followed me anyway. I felt the guilt rising up but I pushed it back down and calmly set about to Ryan's car. I opened the door for Ash and he giggled as he sat down in the passenger seat. I smiled and slipped over to the driver's seat. And I drove.

Georgia.

Georgia.

Georgia.

That one word crossed my mind a thousand times as I scrambled over into the plane and took a seat beside Ash. He smiled at me but I could see the black bags under his eyes. He hadn't slept in a long while.

We had managed to get two tickets to Georgia. I didn't have a passport and nor did Ash but Ash had told them, very reluctantly, that he was the son of a very wealthy family. It wasn't a lie either. The authorities checked up on it and found that it was indeed true. So, they simply gave us two tickets after taking Ash's money from his family's bank account and sent us on our way. Being rich had its advantages.

"I'm scared, Ray," Ash whispered. I looked around at the tall Australians sitting around us and even noticed a girl batting her eyelashes at me. I gave her a cheeky smile and she reddened.

"Why?" I asked him.

"They'll be hurt. My siblings. Ace. He's so small. Aze and Ada. Oh my God, Ray, they'll be hurt. I don't want to see them hurt!" he wailed.
