Hi Wattpaders reading my first story on Wattpad,
I am dedicating thsi chapter to Nat3826 for voting for my chapter! Thanks a lot Nat!
I'm happy with all the people who are at least reading my story, forget about the votes and comments. But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate you guys when you vote and comment on my story.
Everything's good on this side. Not. Fights come like hurricanes in my house and I'm pretty much tired of it all. My only solace is this story.
I know that I said that something big was coming and it would be after a few chapters. Forgive me, but I lied. Not meaningfully! I just couldn't wait I guess. There had to be some action going on.
Here's the tenth chapter and PLEASE, ENJOY!
Ray's Pov
A man stepped from stairs that came from... nowhere. Ash and I gaped at the man. He was the same man from when I was unconscious. His blonde hair was windswept and his violet eyes was shining brightly. He looked exhausted though but still managed to smile widely at us.
"Hi Ash, Ray," he acknowledged us both in turn. We got up from bed and he looked at us curiously before shrugging and throwing himself on the bed like he owned it. He sat up and leaned against the head board and patted the space next to him.
"Both of you, come here."
We slowly crept on the bed and Roger pulled our heads on his lap. It was warm and very comforting. But why was he doing this? What did this gesture mean?
He sighed and said, "This gesture is just a sign of my fatherly love towards you."
My eyes widened in surprise. How did he know what was on my mind. Was he a mind-reader or something. Yes. He probably was.
"Yes, I'm a mind-reader," Roger said, closing his eyes. He opened them again and said, "The symbols on your palms. That is the symbol of Fira, the Fire Heafi. You are very unique, both of you. Fira hasn't blessed any of the children in this world for ages."
"What does all this mean? Who is Fira? What is a Fire Heafi?" I asked, my mind confused.
"Don't be confused. Just relax and hear the story."
Ash and I nodded. Roger shifted slightly and then started,
"There are two types of races in this world. The Humans and the Heafis. In the beginning, there were only seven. They were... are the Elders of the Heafis. The first one of them is Fira, the Fire Heafi. Her power is fire. The second is Nero, the Water Heafi. His power is water. The third is Zeus, the Wind Heafi. His power is wind. The fourth is Gaea, the Earth Heafi. Her power is earth. The fifth is Jewel, the Gem Heafi. Her power is using gems. The sixth is Beau, the Beauty Heafi. His power is beauty. The seventh and the last is Gabriel, the Angel Heafi. His power is of the Angels above in Heaven.
"Even though Gabriel is the strongest of all of them, he didn't want to become the ruler. He gave the job to the next person who was Fira. She still rules the Heafi world. Now, Heafis do not have access to their full powers until they reach the age of seventeen. Sometimes it takes longer than that. The Heafis are given their true powers by whoever of the seven elder Heafis that want to bless you. That's exactly what happened to you two.
"There are two ways for the Elders to bless you. The easiest and slowest way is when you reach seventeen. The Heafis bless you at that time. But it doesn't work for all. When the Elders realize that two of the Heafis are close together, they do something that is called Trance. The Trance sends the two of the Heafis together to go into a trance and raise their right hands to link it. There will be a burning sensation and you fall unconscious. That's where I come in. When two of the Heafis link hands and fall unconscious, I have to visit them in their state and give them a map. This map shows you the way to a School. You have to make your way there to be with the other Heafis. It is important that you go to this School because only there can you learn how to control your powers."
