Chapter 29
"Oh hey you're back." Marley grinned as Wesley and I turned the corner at the top of the stairs.
She was standing outside of her room with a box of pizza in her hands.
"Who's the pizza for?" Wesley raised his eyebrows, his hand resting on my back as we walked towards his room.
"Me and Logan." Marley replied with a smile.
"Logan and me." Wesley corrected, giving her a look.
"Whatever." Marley stuck her tongue out at him. "We are marathoning an entire season of Friends tonight."
"That's impossible." I laughed, shaking my head. "You'll be up for the entire night."
"Oh well I mean we've been at it since school got out so we'll be done by midnight." Marley laughed. "What are you guys gonna do?"
                              "Movie night probably." Wesley shrugged.
"No! This is the perfect opportunity for our Mario Kart tournament!" I exclaimed, turning to look at him.
                              Wesley's eyes widened with excitement.
"Dude oh my goodness I'll go get it set up." He kissed me on the cheek before dashing off to his room.
I looked at Marley with a laugh.
"Well I'd suggest some music or headphones. Mark and Nicole have absolutely no chill tonight." Marley grimaced, stepping towards her room.
"Where are the twins?" I asked curiously, nervously glancing at Mark's closed door.
"Uh, Justin is in there watching some horror movie or whatever, it seemed terrifying when I was in there a moment ago. Michael is at some girl's house, but he said he'd be home tonight or like early morning I have no idea." Marley shrugged. "But I gotta go before this pizza gets cold have fun!"
"You too." I laughed before walking into Wesley's room.
He was leaning against the back of the couch, facing the TV, wearing just a pair of sweatpants as he set the wii up.
"Change into your pajamas." Wesley told me as I shut the door behind me.
"You sound so serious." I laughed, flicking the lock before walking over to him.
"Did you just lock the door?" Wesley raised his eyebrows, glancing at me.
"Yeah because last time we tried to have a mario kart tournament, your damn brothers kept interrupting." I laughed, setting my bag on the couch. "So I'd rather have you all to myself tonight."
"Scandalous." Wesley wiggled his eyebrows. "Go get changed." He laughed, kissing my cheek.
"Yes sir." I laughed, picking up my bag again.
I skipped over to the bathroom.
"Are you seriously skipping?" Wesley called.
"I'm happy!" I yelled back before shutting the door.
I changed into my sweatpants and a white tank-top.
I left my hair down but took off my makeup.
"Hurry up!" Wesley called through the door.
"Would you chill out!" I yelled before opening up the door. "I am ready."
"Good." Wesley grinned, handing me a wii remote.
He spun on his head and jogged over to the bed.
"Come on." He laughed, scooting up back against the pillows.
