Chapter 30
"Turn it off." I whined, rolling over away from the loud noise.
Wesley let out a groan as I pressed my face into his chest.
"Make it stop." He mumbled, pulling my body closer to him.
"It's your phone, idiot." I mumbled, my senses suddenly overwhelmed by the intoxicating smell of his bare chest mixed with leftover cologne.
Wesley groaned, leaning over to me to grab his phone.
"Hello?" He asked with a sigh, almost all of his body weight across my chest.
I pressed my lips to his chest softly, loving the feel of his body against mine.
"What time is it?" He asked into the phone.
I softly sucked on a faded bruise from a few days ago.
Wesley glanced down at me, a smirk crossing his face at what I was doing.
I winked, beginning to make a darker mark.
"You're what?" Wesley said into the phone in shock. "Ouch, shit Grace, not so hard." He winced, looking down at me.
My eyes widened.
"I'm sorry!" I whispered before placing a soft kiss where I'd made the mark.
"Marley it's eight in the morning what the hell are you doing?" Wesley sighed, sitting up off of me. "You what?"
I frowned as Wesley stood up.
"Oh my goodness don't move I'll be right there." Wesley sighed before hanging up the phone. "My idiot sister decided to go on a run this morning and is too tired to run back."
"Holy shit we barely got any sleep." I whined, standing up from the bed as well.
"You're welcome to go back to sleep but I'm going to get her." Wesley told me as he pulled a t-shirt over his head.
"I'll come too." I replied, stretching my arms over my head.
"Holy shit you look hot." Wesley sighed, walking towards me.
I felt a smile cross my face as he wrapped his arms around me, pressing his lips against mine.
With a giggle, I softly bit his lip.
"Save it for later, goof." I laughed. "It's a Saturday night aka date night."
"Saucy." Wesley winked, taking my hand into his as we walked towards the door.
I only just managed to grab my phone and converse as I was pulled out after him.
"Where even is Marley?" I asked as we got into the Jeep.
"Fourteen and Franklin." Wesley sighed as he quickly pulled out of the driveway.
"Seriously? That's like five miles away from here." I frowned as I laced up my converse.
"Exactly." Wesley laughed. "She can't run that far."
"Goodness even I wouldn't run five miles away from my house because that's ten in total. If I wanted to do more I'd do a loop or something." I laughed, wincing as my finger got caught in between the laces.
Wesley reached for my hand and placed a soft kiss on my finger.
"Thanks." I giggled before continuing to lace up my shoes.
"Are you going to run today?" Wesley asked curiously.
"Yes." I nodded. "You said you'd come with me."
