Chapter 23.

SUNDAY 4th APRIL

JAMIES POV

Walking up to someones crazy, especially when you met her parents last night. Her dad clearly is protective as I would be but I think he liked me. Hopefully, god my palms are still sweaty.

Although, she's not here when I turn over. I get up and check the time it's 10:35am and instantly I can feel my head hurting probably due to the amount of alcohol I consumed.

I walk downstairs and expect to see Penny but she's not there, I walk around and she literally isn't anywhere which is odd. I don't want to shout because I wanted to scare her but... Then I walk into a room which she's sat in staring at her iMac screen.
I didn't even know she had an office?

"Finally,I couldn't find you"

"I've been here"

"Clearly" I say sarcastically.

"Don't start Jamie" she snaps back at me, what the fuck.

"What do you mean?" I say completely confused.

"Nothing"
I just walk out before anything else happens.

I'm actually confused and shocked, what did I do? I'll speak to her once she's calmed down.

PENNYS POV

Great, well done Penny take it out on Jamie. He's not going to be able to cope with me today with the mood that I'm in all because of fucking Jayden.

I look and see a missed call of Jayden, so I call him back immediately. All sorts run through my mind what is he's hurt?

"Hi Jayden, are you okay?"

"As a matter of fact I am not" he replies. What? Why?

"Why what's happened?"

"You lied to me! You're with Jamie"

"Are you serious? We became a thing a matter of days ago, I never lied to you! I wasn't aware I had to tell you?"

"A phone call would have been nice, instead I find out on twitter and of your brother." Fucking Nick.

"Why what did he say?"

"That you brought him to your dads birthday and everybody loved him, you seem really happy"

"Exactly, so what's the issue? Surely your happy for me"

"Is it the money?" He says dryly, that's it! How dare he.

"The money? I would never be with somebody depending on their bank balance, I provide for myself and would never dream of getting with a man for money. I work extremely hard for everything I have an will continue to do so, I do not need anybody else to provide for me. I have an amazing lifestyle due to myself, thank you very much. I say down the phone to him and end the call.

Then Jamie walks in.

I'll go and explain in a minute.

"Jamie" I shout walking out of my office.

"Yes"

"I'm sorry, I'm stressed"

He emerges from the bathroom as I reach the door.

"What's happened" He asks me clearly concerned.

"Nothing babe, don't worry about it"

"I'd like to know please"

"Jayden, he phoned me this morning. Just before you came in and he said some stuff that's all"

"The bast.."

"Jamie it's fine." I say to him as I look down and see his clenched fists.

I wrap my arms round his neck and instantly feel a lot more content and calm about the situation. He's my safety net.

"Shall we go out somewhere for lunch?" Jamie suggests.

"Yeah, but I've got to go to my personal training first"

"So do I, I'll come and work out in the gym whilst your there"

"Deal"

We kiss briefly and then I go up to get changed as do Jamie.

I drive us to the gym and Jamie comes and works out on the punch bags next to us as we're doing boxing today.

"So Penny whose the lucky guy?" My trainer asks and I laugh.

"I think I'm the lucky one, not gunna lie. He's called Jamie"

"I know who he is Penny, my girlfriends obsessed" He says laughing, I suppose I'll have to get used to this.

"Ohh"

"You don't seem comfortable with that?" He asks and he actually really makes me think.

"I've never really thought about that until now to be honest, I think it's more people thinking I'm with him for the money and fame"

"Penny, with all due respect to the both of you, you aren't doing bad yourself. Whoever thinks that fuck them."

"I suppose" I say to him forcing a smile which must have looked evidently fake.

"Come on, I'm not your therapist" He's says and we both begin laughing which gains Jamies attention and he looks.

We box for around 45 minutes and Jamie finishes at around the same time.
He walks over to us and I say goodbye to Jack.

"I'm Jamie, nice to meet you"

"And you, I'm Jack"

"I've heard alot about you, keeping this one in shape" He says winking at Jack and they both laugh.

"We best get going then, thank you J" I say and we leave.

"Good session?" He asks.

"Really good! He's amazing"

"More competition for then?"

"No, none"

"Good"
