Chapter 43.

I'm ready, I scroll through my phone and reply to a few messages from my family and friends. I'm becoming nervous about my exam, but that's not like me at all. Snap out of it Penny.

My uber arrives, the drive is rather boring although my driver is talkative. I tell him about my job and we discuss his children just the general small talk.
I walk into the restaurant and I see Jayden straight away, he's sat towards the back of the room in a booth with a girl assuming it's his girlfriend by his side. They seem to be in a deep discussion which I'm glad about because I can analyse them as I'm walking over with the waitress.

She's pretty, definitely his type. From what I can see she's wearing a white two piece with some heals and a blazer.
As Jayden spots me he stands and goes to kiss me.

"Hi Penny!"

"Hi, how have you been?"

"Good" he replies sitting as Kelsie stands to greet me.
We hug and I kiss her on the cheek.

"And you must be Kelsie! It's lovely to meet you"

"You too, I've heard a lot about you"

"Oh don't believe anything" I reply jokingly as I sit across from both of them.

"So... How is everything?" Jayden says prompting me to talk about a certain somebody. The one who should be sat next to me right now.

"Well everything's good with Jamie! He's filming at the minute in Vancouver actually.. But other than that nothing's changed really!"
"And you?" I add.

"The same old, I'm going to America next week for auditions"
I smile as the words leave his mouth, because I'm genuinely happy for him.

"That's amazing Jayden!!"
I notice Kelsie's quite so I add her to the conversation asking her about what she does,etc. Turns out she's studying law and works in a law firm as an intern at the moment.

She's a lovely girl and outgoing too.. Hopefully they'll last, they seem to be going really fast considering how we were a few weeks ago. I hope she doesn't have to put up with him the way I did.
Does she know about us?

I check my phone before our food is brought out and Jamie has texted.

Okay babe, don't have too much fun without me! You know I'm jealous ;)

Is he serious? He's the one filming sex scenes with another woman! Oh my Jamie. I get butterflies in my stomach reading it and I realise there's nothing more that I want than to be wrapped in Jamie's arms.
It's my happy place.

The food comes, Kelsie and I hit it off as we discuss fashion and beauty which Jayden stays out of and eats his food. He's acting a lot more mature and stereotypically more manly which is a good thing. Maybe now he'll take responsibility and leave Jamie and I out of it?

JAMIES POV

I seriously wish I went to sleep earlier, I hate shooting when I'm tired.
Dakotas bright and bubbly as per usual and I'm just sat wondering how Penny's meal is going...

"Jamie, Dakota we need you on set" Sam shouts as the make up artist finishes my make up.
I walk over and I feel a little more awake when I realise I need to be, the dreaded sex scenes.
I don't mind about them to much actually, it's all part of the job. Dakotas easy to work with too. Although, it is odd not having anybody else around.

"That's a wrap for now, well done guys" Sam says as I throw Dakota her robe.
I'm starving, the cafe around the corner it is.
I open my laptop and scroll through emails, a few people ask me for a picture whilst I'm sat down.
I'll phone P..
The phone rings once, twice... 8 times and she still doesn't pick up so it goes to voicemail.

"It's me P, hope your having a nice night. Phone me later. Bye babe"
I hope she phones before I go back on set.

My phone goes off as Kim starts to touch up my make up, typical. I ignore it and then realise that it's Penny's picture on the screen.

"Sorry can I take this whilst your doing it?"

"Yeah course" Kim says smiling.

"Hi babe" I hear Penny say down the phone, she seems tired.

"Hi babe, are you okay?" I say smirking aware that Kim's trying to stay professional but smirking at me.

"I'm good, I'm just in the taxi on the way home"

"Good, is it just turning 11:00pm? How was tonight?"

"Yeah and it was lovely! Kelsie's gorgeous and really nice. Jayden was well Jayden! He was lovely too!"
Good. He better had of been.

"Good, he's not got a motive?"

"No J, he doesn't have a motive!" She half snaps and I laugh.

"What are you doing?" She adds.

"Just getting my make up done of the gorgeous Kim" I say smirking up at Kim and she laughs.

"Trying to make me jealous Mr.Dornan?"

"Nope"

"Okay, Jamie I'm going to go I'm about five minutes from home"

"Okay stay safe, bye baby"

"Bye J, I love you"
I can feel her smile. I grin from ear to ear and say it back to her.

"Still new the 'I love you' Jamie?"

"Sure is.. It's good though, I think?" I reply giving Kim a quizzed look.

"If it's love it's love" she says back to me shrugging her shoulders.
How many times have I heard that?!
