Chapter 32

It's now 6:45pm and my day took and extremely different turn, a sad turn at that. However, I'm so relieved that he is okay. Penny was amazing and I really appreciate it, I'll have to text her once I'm home. I still can't get Carla and I's conversation out of my mind, I just don't believe it and I don't want to put my feelings on the line so early on.

I'm finally home and I'm ordering Dominos, I just need to chill. The traffic was awful on the way back 50 minutes it took me! So its now 7:30pm. I better text Penny.

I offered for her to come over but she had work to do. I'm sort of glad as I feel like I need time to myself which is odd for myself as I prefer to have people around me but I had a real wake up call today that I don't want to loose anybody again, not after my mum. Today really brought some feeling back which I don't think I've ever experienced before.

I'm getting a shower before my food arrives but I'm quickly distracted by a message from Penny,

Babe don't worry about it, I hope your okay. I'm at home working!

PENNYS POV

Seeing the pain in Jamie's eye made me realise how much love he has inside of him and how much he cares for his friends and family.

I'm sat in my office making my way through my work and I've got my final exam next week but I'm quite confident in where I am with all my work as after today it's done. The door goes and I'm so confused as it's so late.

I open the door and see Olivia stood there.

"Oh my god!! What are you doing here? I've missed you so much" I say pulling her in for a hug.

"I was in the area.... No I've missed you and I couldn't resist any longer"

"Come in!" She walks in and we sit on my sofa.

"So.... Jamie Dornan?"

"Olivia, you have no idea! He's amazing"

"Tell me everything" I begin to tell her everything and throughout the whole conversation and I haven't stopped smiling. I have butterflies in my stomach.

"Penny he's perfect for you, he seems exactly what you need!"

"He is, especially after everything. I just feel so comfortable with him that's the only I can describe it. And seeing him today in pain, I just wanted to help him and I couldn't I felt so hopeless."

"I can imagine!"

"Anyway enough about me... How are you?"

"Well Jordan and I have the wedding invitation"

"Ohhhh I'm so excited!!"

She hands me the invitation and I cry reading it.

"Olivia they're gorgeous, I'm so happy for you. I can't wait to be a bridesmaid"

"I'm so glad, I'm in such a good place and of course Mr.Dornan is invited"

We talk for hours after and she doesn't leave till 2:30am but I don't care.
