About an hour later I open the front door and call Mittens.
"Mitsie Pie!" I call,"Come in!"
I wait for her to come, but she doesn't.
I call again,"Mittens!"
She still doesn't come. I walk out into the front garden.
"MITTENS!" I scream as loud as possible.
I walk onto the path down the road, still yelling out her name. Something has happened to her.
"Oh hi, Mittens!" I say as I find her looking out the window of a house. I ring the doorbell.
"Excuse me, my cat is in your house..." I say as the old, thin lady steps out the doorway.
"Oh, I'll get her." she says. She comes back holding Mittens.
"Thanks." I say as the lady hands her over.
I walk back to my house. As I step into the doorway I say,"You're never gonna guess where Mits was."
