(B/n) - Brother's Name

"All hands on deck!" You shouted to your crew. You drew your (celestial bronze/imperial gold/stygian iron) sword and narrowed your eyes at the familiar green flag decorated with a trident. "We've got company."

(B/n) jumped down from the crows nest. "(Y/n) it's-"

"The Pirate Prince," you finished. "Yes, I know. Prepare the canons and ready the crew."

(B/n) saluted and ran around yelling orders.

You grinned despite the situation. You always looked forward to these encounters. They always brought around a feeling in your chest that was both unfamiliar and blissful. You loved seeing him. The bang of a canon took your attention and you started climbing the rigging.

The Blue Pancake, the Prince's ship, pulled up next to yours close enough for you to see its captain hanging from the rigging.

"Percy Jackson," you called out with a snide grin, "we meet again."

He bowed with that trade mark smirk that drove you crazy. "Hello, Princess. You're as lovely as ever."

You tilted your sword in your hand with a grin. "How about we settle this here and now?"

"Sounds good to me, princess."

You leapt over across the raging water between your boats and landed on the ropes just beneath Percy.

He looked down at you with a laugh. "You're gonna have to do better than that dearie. Now, shall we climb?" He scurried up the ropes.

You placed your blade in between your teeth and followed him closely.

"Be careful, captain!" (B/n) called from below as he fought the prince's first mate Annabeth Chase.

You smiled with a newfound determination and climbed the ropes to the crows nest.

Percy looked at you. "I almost thought you weren't going to make it, princess." He lunged at you with his blade.

You spun out of the way, your (h/l), (h/c) hair flowing in the wind, and brought your sword upon him.

He blocked and kicked your blade out of your hand.

The sword clattered to the deck below just barely missing one of his cabin boys.

You pulled a knife from your belt.

"Ah come on, Princess, that's not fair."

"Nothing is fair in love and war." You approached him slashing your blade.

He stepped out of the nest onto the wood poles that held the sails. "Come at me."

You glanced down and gulped.

"What's wrong? Scared to take this fight on to new heights." He stuck his tongue out at you teasingly.

You puffed out your cheeks and after gathering your courage, you followed after him.

The ship seemed to rock purposely throwing you off your balance.

Percy grinned. "I thought that a captain like yourself would already have your sea legs."

"Shut up Seaweed Brain!" You shouted as you tried not to loose your footing.

A wave crashed against the hull making the ship rock.

You screamed as you tilted to the side. Your feet slipped and you fell. Your arm shot out wrapping around the wood as you desperately tried to claw yourself up.

"(Y/n)!" Percy screamed as he ran to you. He knelt down and grasped your arm tightly. "Let go. I've got you."

You were breathing heavily and you looked into his green eyes that resembled the calm sea. "Don't let me fall," you whisper as you let go.

He hoisted you up and lifts you into his arms. He waisted no time in running to the crows nest where you weren't in any danger of falling. He set you down and pulled you into a bone crushing hug. "Don't do that to me ever again, (y/n)."

You were taken aback by the anger and concern laced in his voice. You embraced him back. "I think that's the first time you've ever called me by my first name," you say with a smile.

"Oh- ah, well..."

You grin. "Were you scared for me, Prince?"

He laughed and hugged you tighter. "Of course. I couldn't live without my Princess."
