Nico di Angelo || Strong

The taunts and teasings just kept flowing in. You tried your best to block them out but they would just press harder. The Ares kids had always teased you just because you weren't as strong as a fighter as the other campers. Even though you were a child of (g/p) you weren't as strong as your siblings and we're almost worthless in a fight other than strategizing. You relied on your siblings or your boyfriend Nico di Angelo to protect you in a fight while you told them what to do.

You walked around camp with a pack of Ares kids following you yelling insults at your back while you attempted to block them out.

"You call yourself strong? You can barely lift ten pounds!"

Ignore them.

"Why did (g/p) claim you anyways? You're so pathetic and just an embarrassment!"

Your eyes began to water but you held back the tears.

"I wonder what Nico sees in her anyways? Even he could do better than her."

Suddenly the sky darkened and a loud rumbling shook the valley. Cracks snaked their way around the Ares campers and widened. Armored skeletons began to crawl out of the holes making the surrounded demigods scream in fear.

Two strong arms wrapped themselves around your waist and pulled you into a solid chest as a chin rested on the top of your head.

Nico's laugh vibrated your body. "Look at them. They claim you're weak but they can't even handle a few undead soldiers."

You chuckle slightly and lean into his embrace. "Thanks Neeks."

"Watch this," he whispered quietly before yelling, "Next time you try to belittle my girlfriend, I won't hesitate to send you to Tartarus." The sky rumbled and lightning flashed reflecting the son of Hades's anger.

The Ares campers screamed in fear as they cowered like children.

Nico smiled and wrapped you in a tight hug. "You are strong, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise."
