Annabeth Chase || First Day

"NoooOOOOOOooooooo! I don't want to go!" You sobbed falling against her arm with a groan.

Annabeth pushed your head off. "Get off and deal with it." She looked down at you with an amused smile.

"Annabeth don't make me go back! Please don't make me go to high school again!"

She laughed lightly. "You have to. Summer's over and school is just beginning."

"But I only have two classes with you!"

"And we're locker neighbors so don't worry."

The pair of you started climbing the steps to the school.

"And if any body tries to pick on my little (y/n), they'll have to deal with me," she said kissing your cheek.

You crossed your arms in a pout. "I can take care of myself, thank you very much."

"Of course you can." She smiled at you as she stared for her first class. "I'll see you in class."

You nodded and stalked off to your first block.

By the time the hour and a half passed, you were ready to go back to camp. You ran out of the room and sprinted down the hall to math where you quickly  snatched the seat to Annabeth's right. You glanced to her left where a boy had already claimed the desk you were hoping would remain empty.

He smiled at Annabeth and tapped her shoulder.

She barely glanced at him. "Yes?"

He blinked at her sudden coldness. "Um, I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Leon."

"Annabeth," she responded  as she turned to you. "How was first block?"

"Dreadful," you groaned in exaggeration. "I'm ready to go back to my cabin."

"Not for several months. Trust me. You need the education."

You stuck your tongue out at her and opened your notebook.

The class passed with little excitement. A syllabus was passed out like normal and rules were explained.

Annabeth held your hand underneath the table occasionally squeezing it gently.

You smiled calmly with her presence beside you. This was definitely going to be one of your favorite classes.

As the bell rang she gave your hand one final squeeze. "I'll see you at lunch."

You smiled weakly. "See you, Wise Girl."

She let go of your hand and walked out of the classroom.

Leon who approached her earlier took the opportunity to follow her closely.

You narrowed your eyes at him and snuck out of the classroom. You became his shadow for a bit following him as he trailed your girlfriend.

He caught up to her and touched her shoulder again. "Well hello there."

She glanced over her shoulder and stopped. "Oh. It's you again."

He laughed coyly. "Yeah it's me."

She turned to face him.

You ducked behind a group of student to avoid being spotted. No way in Hades were you going to get spotted by her.

"Can I help you with something?"

"Maybe. I have a small problem. See, I get pretty lonely sometimes and I want someone to hang out with. You seem to be exactly my type and I was wondering if you wouldn't mind joining me for dinner this Friday."

"Oh heck to the no." You dive out of your hiding spot and grabbed Leon's shoulder. "Excuse me, but I couldn't help hear you flirting with my girlfriend." Your eyes darkened as you glared at him. "Move along buddy."

He flinched in fear and scampered away.

"Hmph."

Annabeth laughed. "Oh, you're adorable when you're possessive."

"Shut up."

She smiled and ruffled your hair. "Whatever. See you later."

And another. I'm gonna shoot these out like five at a time today. But it may not be possible. I hope you all enjoy this long overdue string of imagines.

So what's going on with you guys? How's school going? Tons of homework? I'm telling you I cannot wait for next week. I have this giant math project that I've been trying to do for like three weeks and I'm only like a quarter of the way done with it 😭. Help.
