"Luke! No please! You promised!" You screamed at him, tears running down your face as he climbed the steps of Mount Olympus.

The boy you thought you knew turned to face you with the all too familiar and once loving face. He looked perfect, but his eyes were wrong.

"Luke Castellan is no more," Kronos called with his voice sending shivers down your back like fifty million needles. He stared at you with his cold, golden eyes. "Begone mortal, before I crush you like the rest." He turned away.

"Luke!" You screamed again running toward him. "You swore you wouldn't leave me! You promised me!"

He turned toward you again pointing his scythe at you. "Stop."

Your body froze mid step and your breathing quickened.

Luke, no, Kronos walked toward you leisurely. He looked you over. He grabbed your chin and turned your head with an amused grin. "Huh, I can see why Luke took an interest to you." He let you go and began circling you like a predator caging his prey. "You know, before Luke kindly let me into his body, he made a special request. He asked me not to harm a single hair on your pretty little head." He smiled hauntingly. "He really cared for you, it's such a same he'll never get to tell you." He smirked and walked further up the path toward the throne room.

You struggled against his magic as you tried to break free of its grasp. Several minutes passed and the effects wore off. You stumbled forward and crashed to the ground scraping your palms. You gasped as you struggled to stand up.

Crashes and booms erupted from the palace at the top of Mount Olympus.

You took a deep breath and pushed your self up. Adrenaline surged through your veins as you started sprinting up the path. You wove around and jumped over debris as necessary, stumbling every once in a while. You recovered quickly, your wanting to save Luke fueling your energy.

You scampered up the destroyed steps into the throne room.

Kronos stood in the center of the throne room with his arms spread out. "Finally! After a millennium in the pit, finally I can destroy the gods."

You paused at the door way. "Luke!" You shouted again.

He flinched and turned around, anger searing his features. "You stubborn mortal. How many times do I have to tell you? You're Luke no longer exists! He's dead! He's-" He doubled over gasping in pain.

You rushed over to him, Kronos or not, he was in Luke, and those gasps of pain sounded like Luke's. "Luke?" You asked hesitantly.

He gasped once more and looked up. His eyes weren't gold though, they were the familiar blue you had looked into so many times.

"(Y/n)," he gasped out with his own voice.

"Luke!" You threw your arms around him.

He breathed heavily. "I don't have much time." A shudder wracked his body. "He's fighting me! I don't have control!" His eyes flashed gold before returning to blue. He fell to the ground.

"Luke." You knelt beside him.

He reached up and hugged you tightly. "I'm so so sorry (y/n)!" He took your hands and looked at them. "You're bleeding... Did he do this to you."

You laughed and rubbed your eyes with the back of your hands. "No I fell."

He looked at you. His body shook uncomfortably. "(Y/n), I'm sorry. I can't hold him back much longer. I need to tell you that it was always you."

"Luke, you sound like you're leaving me. Don't. Fight him." Tears pricked at your eyes.

He smiled sadly. "I can't for much longer. I can barely suppress him now. I need to end this." He took a knife from his belt and undid his chest plate.
