The cold pierced your blood as your vision went dark. Seconds later you reopened your eyes in front of a recording studio in LA. You looked up at the sign as you felt the gravitational pull drag you to the doors. You entered the building to see many people milling around checking clocks and watches, waiting by the elevator anxiously. You stepped up the to desk where a man in an Italian suit sat reading a novel.

He barely glanced up before letting it a gruff groan. "Great. Another one."

Your eyebrows knit in puzzlement. "Excuse me sir, but where am I?"

"Ah yes. You're dead. Welcome to the afterlife."

"D-dead?!" You cried out.

"Yes. Big whoop."

Your head throbbed. What was the last thing you remembered. There was a quest, and a hellhound, and excruciating pain. You knew you were badly hurt but dead?!

"Now do you have any money or anything?" The man, Charon asked impatiently.

"Um..." You dug into your pockets, desperately wishing that your siblings had sent you off with at least a single drachma. Your fingers connected with a cool metal and you pulled out at least twenty gold drachmas.

Charon eyed the money with content before jerking his head at the elevator. "Climb on."

You exhaled in relief as you filed to the elevator climbing in with the other waiting spirits.

Charon boarded with you and, after barking a warning to the other waiting spirits in the lobby, jammed his finger on the down button.

The elevator began its descent which soon turned into moving forward. The walls melted away as the River Styx formed. The mist curled up around the boat creating a gloomy atmosphere.

The ferry finally docked at the banks of the underworld and you disembarked to follow the spirits to the judgement pavilion.

You began to sweat nervously, if that was even possible for a spirit, as the three paneled judging booth entered view. Finally it was your turn.

King Minos glared down at you from his panel. "Ah. A demigod child of (g/p). Well this should be interesting."

A short video montage of your life played. The term "life flashing before your eyes" finally made sense as you watched your entire life span play through.

When it finally ended with you dying the judges conversed for a moment before Minos called, "Elysium!"

Relief washed over you in waves as you joined the shortest line outside of the Elysium Fields.

When you reached the front the security guard smiled, handed you a key to one of the estates, and a welcome packet. "Welcome to Paradise," he said and granted you admission.

You entered the neighborhood and immediately felt incredible. The atmosphere lightened as cheerful laughs rang around you and flowers gave off incredible fragrance.

You looked down at your key which had your new address engraved in a tag. You smiled lightly as you made your way down the street, past your new neighbors to the house. It was a decent size house with a honey yellow color and a small garden composed of jewel flowers outside. You climbed the steps to the front porch and unlocked the door.

A familiar fragrance hit your nose that made your chest ache. It smelled like him. That dug up painful memories.

You shook your head and entered the house. At least the smell would be comforting.

A small rustle in the other room drove you out of your thoughts.

You froze. They didn't tell you anything about roommates. Or maybe they did and you just didn't pay attention.

You crept toward the sound stealthily and slowly peeked around the corner. The person you saw made your heart stop (A/N: Eh? Get it? Cause you're dead so you cant have a heart beat? No? Okay...).

The figure was a tall male with sandy blonde hair. He was going through the pantry pulling out ingredients to (favorite food) and piecing them together. He hummed a sweet tune in the voice that was all too familiar as he worked.

A small whimper escaped your throat.

His striking blue eyes looked up and connected with your (e/c) ones and he froze. "(Y/n)..." He said in his sweet like honey voice.

"Luke..."

He dropped everything he was holding and charged you picking you up and holding you in a tight hug.

"It's you! It's really you!" He cried.

Tears began to spill from your eyes as you just stayed there clutching him like nothing else mattered because at that moment, nothing else did. You had Luke back.

"You're here!" You sobbed holding onto him.

He laughed. "You are too! Oh gods you have no idea how happy I am to see you again."

"Oh Luke!" You pulled away to look at him.

The last time you saw him was when he died. He was pale, defeated, and sad.

Now, while here in the underworld, he had a nice tan, appeared healthy, and the golden eyes of Kronos was no where on him. His eyes shone with life.

"Your scar is gone," you said dragging your thumb across his cheek where the scar would be.

He laughed and held you by the waist. "We haven't seen each other in what feels like eternity and that's the firsts sentence you say?"

"Yes."

"I love you." He laughed as he kissed your forehead.

Oh, how long had you longed to feel his lips again?

He smiled. "Now come on. I've been making your favorite meal."

You smiled back and sat down at the table, ready to spend the rest of eternity with him.
