Here I am
Playing deadly games
Pretending
A marionette in a masquerade
Strings of life they choke me
But
Death is what controls me
The twisted coils of my mind
Play me
Push me closer to the edge
Destroy me
Grotesquely dressed in a smile
I play the part again
Lies
A tainted smile hides my broken soul
I am haunted
By demons running lose in my mind
Whispers
Calling me to death's sweet embrace
Embrace me
My blood stained hands
Quiver
As death's soul draws closer to me
Drawing
The breath out of my weary lungs
I play a deadly game
One I cannot win
A marionette
Forced to dance within the flames
