Silent Screams

When you see a girl

with a giant smile

laughing

don't just assume

that she is really happy

because

all too often

the ones who seem the happiest

really 

are the ones

who are slowly falling apart

the ones 

who silently scream for you

to ask them if

they are really okay

but more often than not

people

don't want

to know that you're breaking

so you stay strong

alone

it hurts like hell

so next time you see a 

"happy girl"

listen 

for her silent screams
