After Lilly and Derek left Maxine and I laid in the movie room and watched some scary movie. We couldn't stay up too late cuz we had school tomorrow. When the movie was over I turned to see Maxine passed out. I laughed when she started snoring like a bear. I went to use the bathroom when I heard Alpha Max talking to someone.
"Rogues attacked the pack down east and almost wiped them all out!" He said angrily.
"We need to train the warriors more and even start training the younger ones." Beta Scott said and sighed. "I know we didn't want to yet but it look like we've got no choice."
I knocked on the door and Beta Scott opened it. "H-hey Anna" He smiled.
I walked in. "I'm sorry Alpha I-I didn't mean to eaves drop." I hung my head low.
"It's okay Anna" I looked and he smiled.
"Umm...I think I have an idea." I said and he rose his eyebrows. "Let me train them, I'm a better fighter than all the warriors by far. Let me teach them what I know, I can really help." I said and stopped as soon as his hand went into the air.
He eyed me and then sighed. "She's right." He looked at Beta Scott. "She will train them starting Monday...give everyone the weekend. You and my son will be training them. Not Derek, Anna, Jace."
I nodded and he mind linked me. 'You have to be careful though, Anna. You're dismissed.' I left and went pee then back to lay next to Maxine. She was now drooling and I laughed while I turned my head. As soon as it hit the pillow I fell into darkness.

"Wake up, Anna!" Maxine yelled.
I groaned and got up. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. My very light baby blue eyes always stood out. Mostly because I have a caramel smooth complexion. My hair is light brown and I crimped it. it's all the way to my belly button, which has a glittery red belly ring in it. I put on a black crop top and white high waisted shorts with black combat boots. I put on silver earrings and light make up (just mascara and eyeliner). I put my phone in my back pocket and walked into the kitchen.
Lidia was feeding Libby and Maxine was texting. She has dyed dark red hair that went a little past her shoulders and green beautiful eyes. She isn't that tall but next to me looks it. I'm only 5'1 and she's 5'5. Maxine was wearing a black halter top with dark jeans and blood red wedges. She had a smokey look going on with her makeup.
I groaned. "Really Maxine? I already look like a midget!"
She laughed. "It's the last day of school! You'll be fine!" She bit into an apple and I rolled my eyes.
Libby smiled at me while having a mouth full of oatmeal. "Hi Leesie!"
I laughed and kissed her cheek. "Hi booger."
Alpha Max came in and smiled. "Good morning!" I grabbed a green apple and devoured it. "Pack meeting today right after school ends. Don't worry, it won't be long."
We nodded and Maxine grabbed my hand. "Bye love you!" We left and got in her car. Maxine is rich but she doesn't take it for granted. She actually has a normal car that even a middle class person could get. It's still reaalllyyy good lookin though. "God I'm so glad we won't have school ever anymore!!"
I laughed. "What about college?"
"Online, duh"
I nodded. "Okay, well I still don't know, maybe I'll travel you know?"
Maxine laughed. "Me, you, Greece or Paris, oh yeah that'd be fun."
I laughed. "We would get kicked out cuz of you!" She shrugged and pulled into the school.
Our school is 85% wolves, 5% human, and 10% vampire. It's rare for a wolf to mate with a human or vampire but we don't frown upon it. Basically everyone gets along, only a few fights but hey, that's teenagers for ya. My pack is the strongest and the most accepting. I mean, except for rogues. We give them a chance to explain and then send them to Sasha. Sasha is the Pack doctor and also part witch (shhh it's a secret). She knows when someone intends on harming or has bad intentions.
We got out of the car and walked to Christie's. "hey" She said and stomped on her cig.
"Ugh why must you kill your lungs, Cris? You are too pretty!" I groaned as we walked inside.
She laughed. "Yeah yeah". As we were walking Daniel came to us and Cris sighed. "Did you tell people it wasn't Leese?"
Daniel laughed. "Yes sis, I did." Oh right, forgot to tell you they were twins. I use to have a crush on him in like the eighth grade. He turned to me and gave me a crooked smile while draping his arm over me. "I was kinda bummed though." He winked and I rolled my eyes.
"Alright, see you two next period." I said to Cris and Maxine. "Lets go D boy." Daniel growled and I laughed. We walked to our first period and sat down next to each other. "Hey did you hear about Jace coming home tomorrow?"
Daniel nodded. "Yeah, we used to be best friends remember? Anyways, he already arrived like an hour ago."
I nodded. "Oh, so guess what?"
"Hmm?"
"It's my birthday tomorrow!" I gushed and he laughed. "Did you get me anything??"
He smirked. "Duh, Leese. But you have to give me something in return."
I frowned. "But my birthday not yours?" I pouted.
He stared at me and then chuckled. "Fine then you don't want it I guess, which really sucks because it is AMAZING!"
"Waaahhh......fine!" I grumbled. "What do you want?"
He thought about it. "A kiss."
I rose my eyebrows up. "A kiss?"
"A kiss."
I shrugged. "Okay." I walked around to him and grabbed his shirt. He looked shocked and then I kissed him. His lips were soft and did taste good. But my wolf, Ella, didn't quite click with it. I pulled away and walked back to my chair with a smile.
"Uhh uh...." He said and then he laughed. "Thanks girly, I've wanted a kiss from you since the fourth grade. You may now get your gift tomorrow."
I clapped my hands and smiled. "Ooo yayyy!"
Class started and our teacher just put a movie on. Daniel fell asleep and I just doodled on a piece of paper. When the bell rang I laughed and woke Daniel up. He groaned as we walked out of class. "Is it the end of the day yet?"
I laughed. "D, you fell asleep FIRST period!!" He faked cry as we got to our second period class. We sat down and Cris came in. "Where's Maxi?"
"Last time I saw her se was arguing with Conner." She snorted an sat behind me. Conner has been in love with Maxine since kindergarden! He's arrogant and cocky but sometimes really nice!
The bell rang and still no Maxine. 'Max?' Nothing. 'Hey biatch where are you?'
'ANNA HELP!' She screamed and I ran out the classroom so fast but I heard footsteps behind me. I opened the schools front door.
"Wait what is it?" Cris said with Daniel next to her.
"Maxi's in trouble!" I yelled! Daniel growled and shifted.
'EVERYONE MAXINE IS IN DANGER!' He mind linked the pack! I sniffed the air and caught a whiff of her sent. I looks at Cris and she found it two. We both shifted and all of us ran towards her. We ended up in the woods and there Maxi was, fighting about six rogues.
I growled fiercely and jumped on one that clamped it's jaw on Maxine's leg. I but into his fur an he yelped. I didn't let go until he stopped moving. I spit the chunk if raw flesh and went to the next one. 'ALPHA' I screamed.
'WE'RE COMING ANNA!'
One knocked me down but Daniel snapped her neck. 'Four rouges left, Alpha' Daniel said. I heard a yelp behind me and turned around. 'CRIS!' We both said.
She had a huge gash on her stomach and that really* pissed us off. Maxine was unconscious and a rogue was pulling her farther into the woods. He didn't see Alpha behind him in his wolf form. He was as black as night. He ripped the rogue to shreds. I looked and there was only one more.
He snarled and charged after me. We rolled and he ended up on top. I head butted him (kind of funny looking in wolf form). He yelped and I got from under him! I grabbed him and swung myself around so that I was on his back. I forced him down and Alpha Max yelled 'SHIFT!'
The rogue shifted and I did as well. I didn't care that we were naked I was so mad. I punched him square in the face. "Why did you attack a girl with six Of you? What did you want?!" He didn't answer and I punched him again harder this time.
He chuckled. "We weren't after the bitch, she was just to get to someone else."
I felt my anger seep out if my skin. "Anna" I heard Daniel and noticed he shifted.
The rogue looked at me and smiled. "Annalise Jacobs, how does it feel? To be the cause of all of this?" I gave him a confused look and snarled. "Why don't you ask your dear Alpha! It doesn't matter, soon those bitches over there will be dead! And then....you!"
I slammed his head against the ground and punched until someone grabbed me. I snarled, which was a big mistake. Alpha Max growled a warning at me and I lowered my head in submission. "S-sorry"
'It's okay, you're still too mad and Ella doesn't want to calm down so go run, we'll take care of them' I nodded and didn't notice another wolf until now. But Ella was still too angry so I shifted back and ran for a good four hours.
I got to my house, shifted back, showered, put on a t shirt and baggy shorts and ran to the infirmity. My mom was still at work. When I got there almost everyone was there. I saw Daniel with his dad and I hugged them. "How are they?"
Beta Scott sighed. "They're gunna be fine, just gunna take some time for Cris to heal." I sighed in relief. "We are having the pack meeting in-" He paused and smiled smally. "Well right now."
Alpha Max came out and everyone sat on the floor, who cares ya know? "As you all know Maxine was attacked by rogues. Thanks to Daniel, Cris, and Anna, she will be okay. And so will Cris! A pack not far from here was attacked by rogues and they were almost wiped out." Everyone gasped and murmured. "We will be having intense training starting Monday. Warriors and young trainees will be trained by Anna and my second eldest son, Jace. Right now he's with Maxine." A girl slowly walked from behind him. She was very pretty with black short hair and dark brown eyes. "This is Jace's friend, Richelle, she will be joining our pack."
I could tell she was nervous. I elbowed Daniel and he nodded. We walked up to her and smiled. "Hi, I'm Anna and this is Daniel."
Daniel smiled and gave her wink. "She's gorgeous."
Richelle blushed and smiled. "Thanks, it's nice to meet you guys too."
"Hey D, since Cris is in the infirmary, shouldn't you cancel the party for tonight?" I asked and then I smelled something heavenly. It smelled like cinnamon and apples. I couldn't help but sniff the air. Where the hell is it coming from?!
"Uhhh Anna? Why are you doing that?" Daniel asked while Richelle gave me an amused look.
I shook my head. "I keep smelling something that's so freaking good but I can't figure out where!" I said frustrated.
Daniel gasped and laughed. "Your mate is here girl!" Richelle smiled and looked around.
I did as well. "B-but I'm not eighteen yet?"
"That means he is already." Richelle said. "This is exciting!"
I groaned. "Not if I can't find him?"
As if on Que I heard a growl behind me. Daniel laughed. "No way!!"
Richelle squealed. "Fantastic!"
I gave them a confused look and turned around to see the most amazing set of blue eyes ever. I stared at him an he stared at me. I then squinted my eyes. Wait a minute..."J-Jace?"
He growled again at the sound of his name and ran towards me. "Mate!" He growled and then hugged me tightly. I felt my whole body spark up like an ignited flame. I hugged him back and I felt him sniff me. "Mine!" He whispered and sounded like a plead.
I smiled. "Mine." I felt him relax and pulled away to look at me. I smiled again. "You are my mate." I said as if trying to wrap my head around it.
"Yes, and you are mine!" He smiled and I almost swooned. Damn my mate is hot! He was a whole head and a half taller than me. He had dark brown almost black hair styled in a sexy way. He was built and very delicious looking. I met his eyes and he smirked. "It's okay baby, you can look whenever you want."
I rolled my eyes. "I have a cocky mate huh?" His look made me laugh. "I'm kidding!"
I kissed his cheek and felt my lips tingle. Someone cleared their throat. "Okay enough PDA please!" Daniel joked and gave Jace a hug. "Good to see ya man!"
Jace smiled. "Daniel you haven't changed a bit."
"I know, I'm still better looking than you!" We laughed. "So, Anna is your mate huh?" He whistled. "Good luck."
I faked hurt and punched his arm. "What's that suppose to mean?!"
He laughed and draped an arm over me. Jace growled and pulled me to him an I couldn't help but smile. Daniel smiled. "Sorry dude, habit. Plus, she's like an annoying sister!"
Conner walked passed us. "A sister you kiss?" Daniel glared at him and I felt Jace stiffened.
I turned to him. "It wasn't that kind if kiss, Jace."
"Yeah dude trust me!" Daniel said, sounding kind of nervous.
Jace looked at me and sighed. "Fine, just don't touch her." Daniel nodded and went back to talk to Richelle. "I don't like it still Annalise!" I shivered when he said my name and he smirked. "You like when I say your name?"
I nodded and smiled. "Yes, Jace." He growled and pulled me in closer. "Oh...you like when I say your name?" I smirked.
He laughed and it sounded as if angels were singing. "I can see why you're my mate." He looked into my eyes and smiled. "My mate." Before he could kiss me Alpha Max came to us. "Really dad?"
Alpha Max chuckled. "Trust me, I'm beyond happy your mate is Anna, but we have things to discuss. You two meet me in my office." We nodded and he shifted, running to the pack house.
Jace smiled. "Lets walk." I nodded and we started walking. "So Annalise, tell me about yourself, since I haven't seen you since you were fourteen."
I laughed. "We'll, what do you want to know?"
He thought about it. "Favorite color?"
"Blue"
He smiled. "Birthday?"
I giggled. "Tomorrow."
"Tomorrow?? Well I'll have to get you a eighteenth birthday present." He winked at me and I couldn't help but smile.
"You're really beautiful, you know that?" He said while studying my face.
I looked down and laughed softly. "Yeah yeah"
Jace grabbed my hand and intertwined it with his. Electricity went through my arm and my heart beat faster. I wanted to be closer to him so badly it hurt. After a moment of silence I couldn't handle it anymore. I pushed him against a tree and jumped, wrapping my legs around him. He growled in approval and I crashed my lips onto his. His lips were oh so soft and it was the best kiss ever. I moaned and he took the opportunity and put his tongue in my mouth. He tasted so good I thought I was going to pass out. I pulled at his hair and he growled.
"My my Annalise." He smiled and started kissing my neck. He licked my sweet spot and I involuntarily pressed my lady business harder against his manhood. "Do that again and I won't be able to control myself, Anna!" He growled and kissed me hungrily.
"Stop talking!" I said and he chuckled. I kissed down his jaw and nibbled on his sweet spot. He moaned and cupped my ass. "God you smell good." I blurted out.
Jace smiled. "You taste good." He licked my lip and I whimpered. "We better stop, Angel." I pouted and he growled softly. "Five more minutes." We started making out again and after a while I pushed off, landing on my feet.
"That was unexpected." I said and smiled.
Jace smirked. "Lets go before I take you right here against a damn tree." My eyes expanded and I couldn't help but get turned on. Jace groaned. "Baby, seriously? Your making this extremely hard!" He pouted and I laughed as we walked to the pack house.
We got there and went straight to Alpha Max's office. We got in to see Beta Scott, Alpha, Luna Lidia, Daniel, and two of our best fighters. "Good they're here." Alpha Max said. "Today's attack was unexpected and unacceptable. Like I said, Monday we'll start training. Annalise you already know Alex and James."
"Yeah, I do." I inwardly groaned. James has always liked me. He was hoping to be my mate and by the looks of his face he sure isn't happy.
Beta Scott sighed. "They are going to help rowdy everyone up and make sure they listen to you and Jace." I nodded and noticed James and Jace having a stare down.
Daniel saw and pulled me away, Jace growled and so did Daniel. "Hey bud, don't growl at me when it looks like you and James are about to fight. Like I said, she's basically my sister and I won't have you two knuckle heads hurting her."
Everyone looked shocked and Alpha Max nodded. "He's right, calm down, the both of you." He said in his Alpha tone. They nodded and Jace gave me a sad look. I smiled while walking back to him in his arms.
"Sorry, babe" He whispered sadly. I kissed his cheek and focused back on the Alpha.
"Anna, you are the best fighter probably anyone has seen and we need you to go hardcore on them." Alex said and smiled. "No mercy"
I laughed. "Got it, no mercy."
Daniel snorted. "You guys do know that Anna is the nicest person ever and can't be mean for her life!"
"I so can you big...dummy!"
Daniel laughed. "See?"
I rolled my eyes and Jace smiled. "Leave the meanness to me then." I smiled and stuck my tongue out at Daniel.
Alpha Max nodded. "Then it's settled." 'Everyone needs to be home by eight. Too dangerous right now' he mind linked the pack.
Luna Lidia smiled at me and Jace and then squinted her eyes. "The party is still on tomorrow missy!"
I laughed. "Yes, Luna"
"Dismissed" Alpha said
We walked out and Daniel smiled at Jace and I. "See you guys tomorrow, hey Anna, what song you singing tomorrow?"
I laughed and wiggled my finger at him. "Find out tomorrow, D boy!" He scoffed and walked away.
"You're singing?" Jace asked.
I smiled sheepishly. "Y-yeah"
He laughed. "My girl can sing, that's sexy." He growled and kissed my neck, making me groan. He chuckled and kissed my lips lightly. "Let me walk you home." I nodded and we walked to my house.
My mom opened the door as soon as we got in the driveway. "Oh baby!" She hugged me tightly and kissed my face. "You okay??"
I smiled. "Yeah ma, I am."
She nodded and then gasped. "Jace? Awe look at you all grown up and so handsome!" She hugged him.
Jace laughed. "Hey Ms. L, you look ravishing as ever."
My mom snorted and smiled. "Wait..." She looked at us and then screamed. "Oh my goodness! He's your mate??"
I laughed. "Yes ma, he's my mate!"
She smiled. "How wonderful." She then got in his face and poked his nose. "You hurt my daughter Jace Michaels and I'll chop off your balls and feed you to a bunch of rogues!" She narrowed her eyes to say she is serious.
Jace gulped. "Yes ma'am!"
I laughed and couldn't help but smile. I have my mate!!!!! What could possibly go wrong?
