He opened the passenger side door for me and I climbed in. He ran around and sat next to me, buckling his seat belt before backing out of the parking space, "What's for lunch?" He asked me with a smile.
"Stevie's Pizzaria?" I asked and he shrugged his shoulders.
"Whatever you want." He drove to the pizza restaurant and we got a table for two. I sat down across from him and we decided to order a pepperoni and Canadian bacon pizza with an order of breadsticks.
"I mean, hanging out with you and you're friends is new and weird, it's sort of exciting." I told him, "Y'all are all super nice." I said, hearing the country in my tone.
He smiled and I began to blush, "They all adore you." He told me.
"What about you?" I asked with a smirk.
"Eh," he said, shrugging his shoulders, "You're okay. A ten out of twelve, maybe."
I smiled brightly, "WooHoo, a ten out of twelve!" I said excitedly, not realizing how loud I was speaking until I was finished talking, "That's really high. I think I'm more of maybe a six out of twelve."
"You're way above average," he told me with a smile, "You are talented, smart, beautiful, you can fall asleep in the matter of like two seconds, and you are willing to play video games."
"I'm above average because I can fall asleep quickly?" I laughed in attempt to hide the fact that I was blushing.
"I think it's cute." He said awkwardly and shrugged his shoulders, "That you think I'm so boring that you can just fall asleep in two seconds." He said louder with a light laugh.
"Well, I think your laugh is cute," I told him, "I like how you always throw your head back and your eyes get the little wrinkled under them from closing them so tightly."
"Really?" He asked with another cute laugh, "A lot of people think my voice is weird."
"I think it's adorable." He smiled brightly.
Our pizza arrived at the table and we finished the entire thing. I ate three pieces and Wes ate the rest, leaving no left overs for later. We walked out of the restaurant and he opened the car door for me like he always has, "Why do you do this?" I asked as I stepped into the car.
"I feel like it's polite," he said before shutting the door and running around, "Like when the chariots would carry around royalty, someone would always open the door for the princess."
"You think I'm a princess?" I said with a light laugh.
"You could be," he said with a smile.
"I'd probably have a frog for a prince," I said with a laugh as he began to drive out of the parking space.
"Maybe." He said with a laugh, "But when you kiss him, he will turn into a prince."
