We exited her apartment and decided to take her Volkswagen to the restaurant and studio. She walked around to the passenger side of the car and opened the door for me, "Hey!" I exclaimed happily, "I'm supposed to open the door for you."

"Too bad," she said with a smile as I sat in the car. She shut the door and walked around to the driver's side, "To Waffle Zone!" She exclaimed as she started her car.

"I've never ridden with you before," I said, "Should I trust your driving?"

"I've only been in like three wrecks this year," she said as she zoomed out of her parking space.

"Are you kidding?" I asked as I gripped the hand bar in front of me.

"Of course I am," she said with a laugh as her car slowed to normal speed, "I've never even gotten a ticket."

"You had me fooled," I told her with a nervous laugh as I let go of the bar and scooted up in the seat.

We arrived safely at the restaurant. Joven parked in the space next to us, "Your car is adorable." He told her with a smile as he walked towards us, "I love the color."

We all started to walk towards the restaurant. Joven was under the spotlight the entire time, telling jokes and stories from Smosh Games. I was glad the service was good and we were able to get out of there in less than an hour.

I walked behind Joven and Stephanie as we walked out of the restaurant. They were still smiling and laughing. He walked her to the car and they hugged, "I'm glad you came." She said happily and never glanced back at me. I walked to the passenger side of her car and waited for her to unlock it.

"Yeah," he said with a smile, "We will have to do this again sometime." He told her and I felt my heart getting heavier.

"Maybe next time we could invite Anthony or Mari," she told him, "I'd really like to get to know everyone better."

"That sounds like a great idea," he said, looking up to meet my eyes, "Well," he waved to me and I waved back, "Have a nice day at the studio. I'll see y'all later." He started walking towards the driver's side of his car and Stephanie finally turned around. She smiled at me as she unlocked the doors and we stepped into her car.

"What do you think of Joven?" I asked to start the conversation.

"He's so fun!" I felt my heart drop as she began to drive, "I can't wait to meet the rest of your friends."

"Y'all seem to get along great," I said, trying to hide my aggravation towards Joven.

"I hope so," she said slower, "I've never really had friends. This is exciting."

I finally began to relax. We arrived at the studio and walked to her private room. No one else was here, "What are we starting with today?" I asked her as she shut the door, "I have to be at Smosh Games for one."

"What time is the convention tomorrow?" She asked me as she placed her purse on my desk.

I paused for a minute, "Actually," I said seriously as my lips parted, "I don't know if we will be able to make it. I realized last night that tomorrow I have another video shoot for Legends of Zelda Live Action."

"Oh," she said, "Well let's get started then."

She went in the booth and she recorded three videos to upload throughout the rest of the week, "You work so fast," I told her two hours later when we were done recording all three videos, "Now the rest of the work of up to me." I lightly laughed and spun my chair to face the computer. She walked up behind me and placed her hands on my shoulders, slightly moving her hands down my chest.

"What would you like for lunch?" She asked, leaning closer to me, "It's twelve. While you stay here and edit those, I can go run to a drive through somewhere."

"Just get me something you think I will like," I glanced up and met her eyes.

"What if you don't like it?" She asked with a cute laugh as she looked down at me.

"Fine," I sighed, "or choose a place and call me when you get there."

"That's better," she said with a smile and hesitated before stepping back, "I'll be back." She said as she collected all of her items.

"Drive safe," I told her as she walked out of the room.

I sat there editing the videos with her beautiful voice echoing through my headphones. A few minutes later my phone began to vibrate. Her name appeared on the screen and I began to smile, "Hello?" I said happily.

"I'm at Baker's Burgers," she told me. Her voice was shaking as she spoke.

"Are you okay?" I asked her and she immediately told me that she was. I ordered my food and again told her to be safe while driving, "I'll see you in a few minutes," The call disconnected and I felt my heart becoming heavier.

When she got back I could tell that something about her demeanor had changed, "What happened?" I asked her as she placed her purse on the desk.

"Nothing," she told me, trying to hide whatever was bothering her.

"Please tell me," I said as she began to roughly grab food out of the bag. She accidentally dumped fries on the floor and began to cry. I jumped onto the floor and crouched down beside her as she scrambled to pick them up, "Hey," I said reaching for her arm. Her body jumped and I cautiously lifted her chin to look at me, "What happened?" I asked softly, "Please."

"I saw a newspaper article," she told me slowly. I reached up and wiped her tears, "Prisoners Escape NewYork Facility." I placed my hand on her shoulder and she slightly jumped again, "There was a picture-" she stopped and I knew what the last words that she was going to say. I pulled her into me and lifted her to her feet. I hugged her tightly and we stayed like that for a couple of minutes as she cried.

"He can't hurt you now," I said quietly as I brushed my hand over the back of her hair, "You've changed. You're safe now." I told her and felt her take a deep breath, "You have me, Joven, Anthony, and all of Smosh. You have every single one of your fans who support and adore you. You aren't alone. You have nothing to worry about." I told her softly.

She gently pulls away from me and I dropped my hands to hold her waist, "I'm here for you." I told her with a small smile. She tried to avoid my eyes, "You are so much more than who you used to be. I know that and we've only known each other for about a week. You're independent, beautiful, talented, loving; you're everything a guy could ask for. You have nothing to worry about." I pulled her into me and I felt her wipe her tears on my sleeve.

She looked up at me and I gently smiled, "Can we eat?" She asked, glancing behind me, "I don't want you to be late."

"I won't be," I told her as I held her hands in mine, "Let's eat."
