We entered our hotel room and placed our bags on the floor near the television. It was already getting late, "What are the plans for tonight?" I asked her and she shrugged her shoulders.

"We need to make sure we get a good nights rest," I heard the slight country in her voice and smiled secretly.

"We can go down to the lobby and see what they have to do here." I suggested.

We took the elevator down and walked through the lobby. We could hear music playing from down a hallway that was separated from all of the rooms, "Let's go check that out," I said and placed my hand on the small of her back to guide her down the hall, "Sounds like a party."

There was a door with a security guard standing in front of it, "I have to see your identification before I can let you in." We both pulled out our driver's licenses and he allowed us to enter the dark area lit by only strobe lights. Loud music was bouncing off of the walls and everyone was moving in the center of the large room.

"Would you like to dance, Stephanie?" I asked her formally and she awkwardly smiled.

"I'd love to, Wesley." I took her hands and guided her to the side where there was a  limited amount of people dancing. I danced awkwardly and she danced fabulously.

We stayed for an hour before I asked to go back to the room, "I'm exhausted," I told her as we exited the room, "I don't usually move that much." She lightly laughed as she helped me towards the elevator.

We walked up to the room and I fell onto the closest bed, "I'll go get us some waters." She told me and walked out of the room without another word.

When she came back she placed the cold bottle on the back of my neck and I lightly screamed as I rolled onto the floor. She laughed at me and I looked up at her with a smile tugging at my lips, "You're gorgeous."

She awkwardly blushed as I climbed back onto the bed, "Thank you." She told me quietly.

"I never got to ask, when did you start learning to play instruments?" That question had been in my mind for a few days, but I never had the chance to ask.

"I started learning how to play when I was really young," She answered, "My grandmother used to play and she kept all of her instruments for me to have."

"You really are an amazing girl," I told her. I could feel a smile pulling at my lips as I looked at her, "It amazes me that you've been through so much, but you are still happy everyday."

"Well," she lightly sighed, "It wasn't easy. I had to force myself to forgive and forget, but after a while I had to move on with my life. I wasn't going to stay unhappy because of one man's horrible actions. I still had my entire life to live after I got out."

"What do you think is going to happen tomorrow?" I asked her and I could hear the nerves in her voice when she spoke.

"I have no idea." I felt her getting uncomfortable as she climbed into the bed and under the covers, "I think I'm going to get some rest."

"Don't hesitate to wake me up if you need anything," I told her as I stood up and walked towards the other bed.

"Goodnight," she told me as she rested her head on the pillow. I locked the door to the hotel room, then turned off all of the lights before climbing into the other bed.

"Goodnight."
