Chapter 16: New Moves and Techniques

Lucy's POV

"Relax your shoulders. Lean back slightly, your right foot forward. That's the right stance when facilitating this move.When attacking, that's when you lean your head and arms back but don't move your body and legs. Inhale deeply and concentrate some magic on your arms. When your finally ready, run and jump towards the target. Apply the needed force to your arms and release." I carefully listened to Stella's instructions and applied it. Following her instructions, i attacked the tree which was supposedly my target.

"Celestial Dragon's Whip Blade!" As i yelled out the move's name, a long golden strip of light appeared in my elbows. I twisted and hit the tree almost swiftly, as if using a real whip. The attack was successful as the tree was cut down in half.

"Well done, Lucy. It's just day 2 of your official training but we already recalled all the moves i taught you years ago. Are you ready to learn new and more difficult moves?" My eyes sparkled upon hearing her suggestion. Finally! I'm going to learn something new!

"Yes please!"

"Woah, calm down. It seems like someone's excited.."

"Can you blame me? It's been years since i last learned something new!"

"Alright. Alright. I'm going to teach you a spell that can heal wounds, bruises, deep cuts and misplaced or fractured bones. It can also extract poison that was implanted on a person. Though, it's can't cure diseases such as cancer, tumor and many more. It's called 'Healing Nature of the Stars'." My ears perked up hearing her words. I can do that?

"How can i do that?"

"Simple. Extend a hand or both, doesn't really matter, on the injured or wounded part. Instead of releasing powerful force, give off a warm yet calm magic power. Focus all of it to the part that needs to be healed. Make sure to sustain and maintain the needed energy until your certain that the injury is healed." She instructed. I took in every word she said and tried to remember it. Shrugging, i looked around the clearing we were in to find something sharp. Once locating a sharp looking stone, i took it into my hands and made a small but a quite deep cut on my arm about 4 inches long. I hissed in pain as i threw the rock to the sidelines. Recalling Stella's instruction, i hovered a hand above the cut and chanted the spell.

"Oh great stars of the heavens, Lend me the power to heal and restore. Bestow upon me the light that can eradicate pain, sorrow and suffering. Healing Nature of the Stars!" I followed all of her instructions and gently closed my eyes. Inhaling, i felt soothing warm heat envelop my wounded arm. As i opened my eyes, the long cut that was present there before was nowhere to be seen. It disappeared completely, no trace nor scars.

Seemingly amazed, i looked at Stella with eyes sparkling with excitement and amusement. The Celestial Dragon just gave me a shrug and heartfelt smile.

"Woah! That.was.awesome!" I emphasized every word, breathless may i add.

"I'm really impressed. You managed to pull that spell off on the first try. You did well, child." The dragon patted my head as i gave her a smile full of gratitude and serenity.

Thank God she's here with me. Stella's been my second mother and all time bestfriend. She was there for me when my family wasn't. And she's doing it again. Now that my second family, Fairy Tail, ignored me, she's here to help and guide me.

"Thank you, Stella."

Normal POV

"Where can she be?!" Zach sighed irritatedly as he ran a hand through his already tangled hair. The travelers that was consisted of a girl and three boys was having lunch at a local restaurant as they decided to have a little break from their searching. As the small group was waiting for their food, they were discussing their plans for the meantime.

"She can be anywhere. I mean, Fiore is a big continent. But what i don't understand, why does she have to leave her guild? It's not like they would push her away if she told them her real powers. They wouldn't considering that it's not dark, forbidden or black magic. So, why?" Kurt muttered, as if he was talking to himself. His companions can only nod in agreement as they too, don't have the slightest idea on why she left.

"Maybe something happened?" Yuuki suggested, earning her odd looks from them.

"Maybe. But what?" Zach questioned back. The girl only pouted and rolled her eyes in answer.

"We should have asked their master instead of going directly to searching like blind mice. I mean, we could have asked for clues on where she might have gone to." Max commented and spoke for the first time since they settled in the restaurant.

"We might have but we can't. You guys know how we are on Death Corpse's wanted list, right? What if they followed us in Fairy Tail? I don't want them to get involved in this. You guys know how cruel and heartless they can be. They won't hesitate to hurt or worse, kill them, if ever." Kurt explained, earning him a chorus of agreements.

"How are we going to find her now?" The girl whined as she slumped her head othe table.

"How about we just lure her out?" Max had suggested. The smirk he's wearing caught his companions full attention. Their youngest member was known for being mischievous and playful. Despite these traits, he can establish great and effective plans that comes in handy when they get tangled in sticky or bad situations. He's smart and witty, traits he and his twin sister both have.

"How are we going to that?"

"Simple.. it maybe risky and dangerous, but this can surely catch her attention. She'll come to us, don't worry.."

Uhhhh, hi?

This chapter is almost 3 hours late. Gomen ne! I got a little carried away with trying on the dress that i'll wear tomorrow for our ball that i forgot! Ehehehe.. Sorry..
