Chapter 16: Discussions

(Lily's POV)

I quickly finish the last part to my drawing of a flower and I set my pencil down so I can stare at my creation. Craig soon joins on eyeing my drawing and he shoves me with his elbow.

"That's a beautiful drawing Lil, you are a much better artist than me." Craig says as he continues on his drawing of a tree, the theme to our projects was to draw something that was related to nature, so I chose a flower.

"Well, yours is looking pretty good as well." I say as I erase some sharp edges and extra lines. Craig sighs and looks over to me.

"Pretty good? That's not enough." He looks towards his drawing and continues trying to make it look better. I giggle at him as he tries to draw a branch from the edge of the tree.

"Drawing isn't hard Craig." I say and I set my drawing book down. I look over to Craig who seems to be disappointed with his creation.

"Craig, it looks amazing." I say looking at his drawing. It really wasn't half bad, it looked sorta realistic, though it did need work.

"You can ask anybody in the group during lunch about how good your drawing looks." Craig sighs and sets his pencil down. He seems really stressed about a simple drawing, maybe I can help him.

"Here, let me just help you with this branch." I sorta edited his drawing and his face brightens at the new adjustments.

"Thanks Lily." He says and hugs me. I giggle as he hugs me and we part as we hear the bell go off for lunch. Me and Craig grabbed our things and left the comforting room, known as our art class.

The whole way to the cafeteria, me and him talked about the prom. I know it may be weird to talk about it with a guy but Craig seems to be interested with the category.

"So, I don't have a date but I will be attending it." Craig says and I smile. Of course Evan is my date, still can't forget the day he asked me, it happened about a week ago.

"The only people who seem to have dates is Evan and Tyler, we can all go together if ya like." Craig asks and I smile. We will all be a attending the prom which is amazing. We grab our lunches and head to our table outside.

"Hey Lily! Hey Craig!" Sofia says as we arrive to the table. I say hello back to her and sit beside Brock. Evan hasn't arrived yet so I am saving a seat next to me for him.

Finally, I see Evan come running towards us but was stopped by someone half way. I squint my eyes to get a clearer view and I instantly widen my eyes. It was Karina.

"Sofia, what does Karina want?" I ask her and she rises. She comes towards me and pulls me with her.

"Evan! You have a date! Don't tell me it's. . ." Karina stops talking when she see's me and Sofia approaching. Evan turns around and smiles at me. He grabs me by the waist and I hug his side.

"Yes Karina, I have a date and its with her." He says pointing to me. I smile in relief knowing that he is being so loyal to me.

(Evan's POV) [Oh! Evan is in!]

Once I was out of the hockey meet up, I started running down the halls towards the door that leads to the blacktops. Once I was out, I made my way towards the table but I was stopped by someone forcefully pulling my arm. I turn around to see that it was Karina.

"Hello Evi~!" Karina says and I sigh in disappointment. Karina has been bugging me ever since me and Lily started dating.

"What is it Karina?" I say in a sour tone and she goes into a more serious mood. She then chuckles and looks at me.

"You remember the little promise you made me before Lily came and ruined everything." I give her an angry look and huff out a sigh.

"Listen Karina, that was before me and Lily, not only did you force me into the promise, I decided to not achieve that promise. Lily is the only person who I care about right now and you can't change that." I say, my words came out like venom. Karina goes from a seducing mood to an angry mood.

"You promised Evan! At least, are you going to the prom?" She asks me in an upset tone but I had to deny her request.

"Yes but I am not going alone." I say and she immediately stares up at me with cold eyes.

"Evan! You have a date! Don't tell me it's. . ." She stops talking and I turn around to see Sofia and Lily. I smile as Lily comes towards me. I pull her towards me by her waist and I look over to Karina.

"Yes Karina, I have a date and its with her." I point towards Lily and the look she gives me is full of disgust. Her eyes started to water but I couldn't care less. I look down at Lily and she looks up at me with a cute smile. I kiss her forehead and with that, Karina runs away.

"What did Karina want?" Sofia asks and I look up at her. I rub the back of my neck and smile.

"She just brought up some old things from the past but I told her I wasn't interested with her offers, she also asked if I was going to the prom and that's when you two came." I rub Lily's back and she sighs. I smile down at her and Sofia soon leaves me and Lily to be alone. Lily looks up to me and she looks like she wants to say something.

"Is she gonna continue bothering you?" Lily asks me and I look down and think it through. Karina has been getting on my nerves which is why she was off my lists of interests. Though, Lily has been in my mind the whole time I was in High School, from freshman year to now.

"She is gonna probably continue but she needs to know that I am happy with who I am with right now." I say and Lily gives me a tight hug. I hug her back and kiss her head.

"Its nice having talks with you Evan, gets us closer." She says into my chest which was sorta muffled but I was able to understand her.

"We should always have talks like this, gives me a better understanding about you and how you are feeling." I say and Lily giggles. She parts from me and looks up to me.

"Let's go eat." She says and I smile, grab her hand and walked her to the table.
