Chapter 11: Park With Evan

(Lily's POV)

Its finally friday, and I haven't been seeing Evan all day. He probably wants to see me at the park and not ruin the moment. I made sure to put on the necklace that he gave me.

Classes were long, I think its because I am excited to see Evan at the park. I wonder what we will end up doing when we are there. I just have to wait and find out but I can't wait!

'Ring'

That was the bell for lunch. I literally ran out the door, towards the cafeteria for food of course and out at the spot where I hangout.

"Hey Lily!" Brock says as he sees me walking towards them. I smile and I sit at the table they were all at.

"Hey, neat necklace. Who gave it to you?" Craig asks and I blush as they all stare at me.

"It was the gift Evan gave me at the hospital." I say and they all grin.

"How cute Lil!" Sofia says and I giggle.

"I am supposed to see him at the park later today, he told me to wear it today." I say and the guys all give each other looks.

"Well, have a great time then Lil." Lui says and I smile at how supportive they are.

As lunch went by, I walked to my last period class. Science, was pretty boring. We were learning about the different types of atoms, each time I look at the clock I always freak out because its still not even half way there.

Finally!

I ran out to the front of the school and met with the guys. They saw how excited I looked and they patted my back softly.

They have been gentle with me because of my bruises but they have technically disappeared already.

As we were walking home, I received a text. I check who it was and to my luck.

It was Evan.

E- Hey, I might arrive late at the park but I am hyped to see you, hope you are wearing the necklace.

I smile as I continued walking with my chattering friends. I started replying back to Evan.

L- Its fine Evan, I can wait. And don't worry, I am wearing the necklace. Very excited to see you as well.

As I hit send, Jonathan wraps his arm around my shoulder and peaks at my phone.

"I see, you're texting Evan." He says and I put my phone away than I gave him a glare.

He lifts his hands up in surrender and I giggle. He started talking to me on how Evan will always be the silly one when they were kids.

Every time he says his name, I feel the butterflies in my stomach grow.

As we arrive to my front yard, the guys and Sofia give me a bright smile.

"Good luck Lil! Text me the details later." Sofia says and she waves goodbye, with the others behind.

As the time was moving by fast, I changed into new clothes, did my hair up in a bun, fix my necklace that Evan gave me, than I leave my room (Picture Above.), and I catch my dad sleeping on the couch. I roll my eyes and exit the house.
