(Lily's POV)
I watch as the guys play cards on a table next to my moms bed, this room is pretty big for just one person.
"Do you have any sevens?" Marcel ask Tyler.
"Nope, go fish bitch." Tyler says causing the guys to laugh.
"Fuck you.." He grabs another card and I look towards the door to see the nurse.
"Umm, sorry to interrupt but can I speak with Lily." She says and I rise from my seat and walk towards her.
She walks me outside and we were now in the hospital hallway. She had short, brunette hair and wore glasses. She took off her glasses and set them on the corner of her doctor coat.
"So, I just wanted to talk to you about your mother and some other things." She says and when she mentioned other things, my heart started racing.
"Your mother is in a coma right now but we are trying the best we can to make her not be as sick as she was before, we have found some really major problems with her but we are taking care of it."
I started feeling the tears sting my eyes asking permission to exit, but I held them in.
"So, I was talking to your social workers and since your mother seems like she won't be waking in a few weeks or so, we have contacted...your father."
My heart stopped when she said 'father'. I literally just wanted to scream and run out of here but I am here for my mom.
"We called him to let him know that your gonna be alone and you will be needing a guardian since your not at that proper age yet. How old are you?" She asks and I start to feel a lump in my throat.
"Se-Seventeen." I say and I swallow.
"Yea, you need a guardian, until your 18, and until your mother wakes up, your father is gonna be watching over you."
Once she said that my tears started streaming down my cheeks.
"Umm, are you okay Lily?" She asks and I nod.
"Y-Yea, sorry." I sniff and rub away the tears.
"Okay, your father is gonna arrive at your house later today, sorry about your mother." She gives me a side hug and walks down the hallway.
Once she was out of sight, I look down and I sobbed quietly.
My dad is gonna watch over me while my mom is in the hospital.
No...I can't have him be in the same house as me, I don't want him to come back into my life.
I watch as a tear slides down my cheek and collides with the cold, hospital floor. I hear a door open next to me but I don't bother looking at who it was.
"Lily? Are you okay, what's wrong?" I hear Brock say and than I feel him hug me. I accept the hug and return it.
"Wanna tell me what's wrong?" He asks and he parts away from me.
"Let's go inside the room so I can tell all of you at the same time." I say and I walk inside the room.
"Hey Lil, everything okay?" Jonathan asks and I sit next to my mom.
