Chapter 14 - Wake up Brooke

--- Steph's POV---




We all took a Step towards the bed. She was asleep with cuts and scratches on her face and arms.




The nurse we had seen before tip toed into the room behind us.




"Brooke has damaged a number of bones in her rib cage. She will not be able to walk without feeling a lot of pain. We think that she will need crutches to help her walk for the next few weeks!" The nurse said and ran back out of the room.




"Brooke?"




"Wake up idiot!"




"Broooooooke!




"Wake up!"




We said the same things repeatedly until we knew that it wasn't going to work.




We all sat dotted around the room in silence. For at least 2 hours.




"Liam?" A small voice asked.




"Liam where are you?"




"BROOKE!!" Niall shouted as He jumped up.




"Niall? Where's Liam?" Brooke asked in tears.




"We're not allowed in to see him, sorry Brooke."




"Someone go and get a nurse!" I shouted jumping to my feet.




"Brooke are you alright?" I asked."




"No Steph! What's wrong with Liam!"




"We're not sure they won't tell us yet Brooke, don't worry I'm sure he will be fine!"




Brooke jumped of from her bed and collapsed in pain the second she stood up. She burst into tears. That's when the nurse came in with Eleanor and Louis.




"Brooke, you need to stay in bed for now. You will be let out of hospital within the next week."




We all helped Brooke get back onto the hospital bed.




"Where's my brother?" Brooke asked tears filling up in her eyes.




"He's in the next room don't worry!" Replied the nurse as she left the room.




A few hours passed. The pale blue sky faded to grey then to black.




"You can all go, I'll stay with Brooke tonight you can go home. We can swap tomorrow if anyone wants?"




"I'll stay too!" Niall said, "if there's any news you lot will be the first to know!"




"Thanks guys we will see you tomorrow!"










Everyone was practically asleep standing up by this point.




Me and Niall sat on chairs next to Brooke's bed. She went back to sleep and we didn't want to wake her up.




"I hate this!" Niall whispered. "My Friend and his sister, both amazing people. Why did this happen to them!"




"I don't know!" I started to cry I looked towards Brooke. Her face looked so sweet while she was asleep.




"I'm going to the shop as soon as I know it's open!" I said.




"What for?" Niall asked me.




"Watermelons and Mini rolls!" I winked at him.




Niall and I had fallen asleep with our heads rested against Brooke's bed.




*knock knock*




I jumped up straight when the knocking started on the door.




"Hello?" I asked quietly trying not to wake Brooke.




"Who is it?" Niall asked walking towards the door.




He slowly opened it. Everyone had come back.




"It's 5:37 your all came back pretty soon! Anyway can I have the car keys I'm going to go to get some things for Brooke!"




Louis threw me the car keys and I had soon left the hospital. As I was walking through the doors a voice shouted from behind me.




"Wait! Steph you don't even know where the shop is!" Niall laughed at me.




"Right then you can come with me!"
