i shook my head, wearing my clothes and walking out of lani's house.

i cannot believe i just really said i love her.

i took my phone from my back pockets calling tez to pick me up. the phone ringed a couple of times before he answered.

"yo my boy luh! did you get some PUSSAY!?" he yelled in the phone.

i chuckled "yea, i'm at lani's place, come and pick me up"

i have been waiting for five minutes in this holy darkness, before tez showes up with his car "luh! get inside!"

i walked up to his car, sitting on the passengers seat "so what happened?" he asked starting to drive.

i stood up, rushed some sweats and a long white t-shirt on. i went in my bathroom, brushing my teeth fast.

i took my phone and car keys, slipping on some vans and running out of my room ignoring kim's questions.

"derek, why in such a rush?" nate asked eating his waffle.

"jovana" i breathed running out.

why was i rushing again? we aren't on speak terms?

"yeah, i busted my ass off helping mia get out of the lie" i laughed with lani looking at the old baby pictures of me and mia.

"you got caught?"

"yes"

"b-" a knock interrupted lani's next sentence so i went to open the door.

behind the door stood derek, looking fine as hell. "jovana... i" he started.

"derek, do you really love me?" i asked.

he stared in my eyes for a minute before saying the most stupidest thing ever. "would i have this hickey if i loved you?" he smirked showing his hickey on his neck.

i put my head down, smiling and shaking my head while bringing it back up "good, i wouldn't even wanna waste my life to a dumbass like you" i slammed the door in his face.

i turned around, my back against the wooden door, sliding down on my knees crying. lani walked to me, kneeling down, comforting me.

"c'mon, lets not care about him" she said grabbing my hand, pulling me up gently and guiding me up my room.

"he said he loves me" i whispered walking up the stairs.

"i know, he does, he's just being a dick"

"no lani, he doesn't. people don't fuck another girl after saying i love you" i burst out in tears again.

lani held me tightly bringing me upstairs causing my mother to look up and rush to me "mi hija, what happened?" she asked.

she took me from lanis arms, hugging me tightly. i returned the hug "derek luh happened"
