I walked down the hall of La Push High's Hallway eyeing the lockers and floor oddly. I mean I never moved before so I had to move here? I'm new, late and not even fashionably late. Great Liz. I rolled my eyes at myself and took a stop by the bathroom. I just looked in the mirror and put my back pack on the floor. Goodness. I needed makeup. Didn't my mother ever teach me manners? Look good where ever you go. Oh wait that was just me. I move hair out of my face. It seemed I was late so I better hurry up before I get another talk again from my new big old princable. It's funny. Why is prince in princable? I guess my teacher would be mad so... I picked up my books and headed for D-10. My homeroom was going to end in ten minutes.
School was just about to end! I close my eyes and open them as I walk in widly. Apparently that made me look embaressed. "You're late Miss Lakes." He says. "Do you have a note or reason for this behavior? I see your not following the dress code as well." The chubby man says. His desk had a little plack that said Mr. CheesePuff. I nearly laughed. I pursed my lips. "Well it's a long story. My car wouldn't start and I had to walk all over here so pretty much that's why.
But then my mom said I forgot something so I waited for her to drop it off. That is why I am here today Mr. CheesePuff Sir." I say and purse my lips again. Who would marry someone like that? It sounds like a joke.... I sat down and waited for the punishment. "Oh yeah I have a note!" I say and put it on his desk and sit down next to a buff guy. He was grinning. He had long hair. Pff. Long hair? I mean it looks good but... Really? He looked at me and I had to blush! I mean I hang out with guys but not like..... You know date! I smiled. "You're not following the dress code. Tattoos 'must' be covered." Mr. CheesePuff said, exagerating the must word. "What tattoo?
Oh the 'Hello Kitty'. I drew that." I say making a face at him. I take my sweatshirt and put it on. I heard some laughter. Man this school is tough. But hopefully it's only this CheesePuff guy. Tomarrow I'll buy him some cheesepuffs and give it to him. Lets see what he does THEN. I heard the bell ring and I was the first one out that door. So far it's been okay, until I hear a 'Hey! Wait up!' so I turn around and see that long hair guy. "Oh hey it's you." I say and gesture him to walk with me to the side."I'm Jacob Black. You can call me Jake." He said smiling. "I'm Lisandee Lakes but 'you' can call me Liz." I say and then I see someone grab Jake's shoulder and whisper, "Who's this we see here?" I roll my eyes and then I notice, We? I looked behind him on my tip toes and see another one. "I better get going. Nice meeting ya' Jake." I wave my hand and get to my locker.
Must've been his friends. Well too bad I was late. I would've met more people. I open my locker and put my stuff in. Only to find a note. "Turn around." I close my eyes, annoyed and open them and turn around. It was some weird guys. "Hey!" They yell and I couldn't help but cross my arms. I look up and whisper, "Please G̉od Oh please, get these fr̉eaks away from me." I say and look down. Thanks for the message, they're still here!I walk past the weird people and out the door. I was that late. Homeroom at the end late. I begin walking then I see all the cars. Mine was at home. Now I'm the loser that walked home on her first day. I walked all the way home.
I just about saw my house then I saw something. Why were there people infront of my house? I couldn't just be like, 'Hey you get out!' I needed to.... Do something. There was a forest preserve by my house so I just walked into that! I ran and ran. I mean I couldn't be seen by people walking home! That's for losers!I ran all the way there till I saw wolves.
Wolves!???!!!! Really. One turned around and snarled. My eyes widened with fear and I covered my mouth trying to remember. No sudden movements. Don't try k̉illing them.... I remembered my obsession of wolves as a child. How I read books and loved them.
Why is this happening if I love them?! So I'll get bitten by one or something?!They just stared at me till one moved forward I fr̉eaked out. I let go of my mouth and moved back. I thought my eyeballs would pop out. Wolves can not be that big. I kept repeating in my head. Wolves can not be that big. Till one barked I totally screamed. They all turned to me. I had a flash momment where I dropped to my knees and coughed for a while. I covered my eyes and grabbed my head.
It was like when I was little. I'm not letting that happen again. Never.I was still on my knees but I wasn't going to let that happen. I wasn't going to scream my head off and start coughing and close my eyes and run away. I wasn't going to have those cough attacks where I couldn't breathe because I knew I needed water then and there was no water out here.
They all stared at me then each other. Why did I have to be a chicken? Why was I scared? I shut my eyes for a long time, what to do? Screaming doesn't help. Did I step on their land? I mean it's next to my house so I mean who's land was it? I opened my eyes and bit my lip. There was one a few inches away from me so I screamed. Apparently loud? Ha. Ha.
