In all of the years of my life, I had never been on a plane. I had never experienced such an emotion when we took off. When we were in the air, I stand up, and walk into the little hallway that led to the bathroom. There was a phone. I take it and dial Aiden's cell-phone. I didn't want to distrupt anyone else. They all seemed so... Quiet. Aiden answers as usual. "Hello?" He asks. "Hey Aiden it's Liz." I say, hushing my voice a little. "Hey Liz, what's up?" He asks. "I won't be home for a while, I'm on a case. I'm sorry." I say. I hear his voice start to change. "That's good. It's alright Liz. Be careful. I love you. Get home soon." He says. We both say goodbye and hang up. I walk back and sit down. I sit down and stare at the window. I was sitting next to Reid, the brainy one. "Never been on a plane before?" He asks. I look at him for a moment, tilting my head. I sigh. "Nope." I say and grin. He takes a small deep breath and begins talking. "It's completely logical, but have you lived around here your whole life?" He asks. "Nope. I moved from Kansas. My parents and I took drove. It was a long drive." I say. He nods. "Did you know most people don't go on planes because of fear of heights. By observing you, it seems you have no fear of heights." He says. I nod and grin, turning to him completely. "You're right. You are smart." I say, looking at him. He makes a face that I just can't help but laugh at him. He nods, and keeps reading his book. I look at the window, then the plane phone rings. Hotch stands up, which I think is what always happens. "Yes, she's here. One moment." He says. I know he pulls the phone away from his ear. "Liz." He says. I stand and he hands me the phone, and stands there for a moment, before a moment. "Hey." I say. "Hey, can I call your cell phone later?" It was Sam. Calling from Aiden's phone? "Yeah sure, just in like... Just don't call me for a day. I mean, it's not like I'm visiting someone here. I'm at work." I say quietly into the phone. "Okay." It was Aiden for sure. Was I on speaker? "Where are you?" I say even quieter. " With the pack. You're on speaker." I hear someone call. "Where are the kids?" I say a tiny bit louder, and panicked. "They're... Oh shoot! I gotta go pick them up!" I hear the phone drop and I sigh. "Take care of yourself and the kids. I love you." I say and hang up. I look up to see Morgan. I sigh. I didn't see that one coming. "Oh sorry." I say and move a little, for him to get to the bathroom. "No, I was just seeing if you were okay." He says and grins at me. I smile back. "Never trust guy friends to take care of your kids." I say and we walk back, sitting back down.
Before I knew it, it was morning. It turns out we discussed the case, then all went to bed. I woke up early, to the sun. I stand up and change clothes, and go to the bathroom while I was in there. We all don't eat anything. We could save that for the hotel. The first place we went was the hotel, dropping our stuff off, and heading to the police station right after. I turn on my phone . Six texts, three from Aiden, three from different pack members. I had two miss calls. One from Aiden, one from Sam. I put my phone on vibrate, and we walk into the police station. Four dead girls. All hung, next to each-other. It was awful.
