I stare at amazement at the eyes, willing to will me as I stood there. I was holding nothing. I back up just one step. It stares at me, for a long time, actually. I didn't want to transform, it could and would hurt me, and the baby. I didn't want to, but dying, or killing someone. I take another step, and speed up my backwards stepping. It growls sharply and I stop. I breathe deeply. With was not going to work was it? I think. I knew I could transform, and my conscious and brain were just waiting for me to let my wall down, so they could rip it to shreds. I back up and then a tiny bit more. I close the fence slowly and it hisses and runs toward me. I gasp and run inside.
I slam the door and sigh. There was a wolf in the backyard. Wow. I turn around. My parents weren't there again! I look at the ring on my finger.
I had to do it for Aiden.
I go through my father's things. I found his gun, and sigh. It scared me to death to hold a pistol, but, it was to protect my family. I knew it sounded stupid, but I knew how they worked. I load it with six bullets. It felt odd, aiming at the wall to see it, but that's how it worked, that was how it worked. I hear it hitting the door with it's paws. I knew this would get out of control. I go upstairs to my room, and simply sit on the tree branch. I aim, and click the trigger. With a huge boom, and the blink of an eye, the wolf was dead. I slide down the tree, looking at the gun as I reached the bottom. I drop it. I killed an animal. A wolf. I walk toward it cautiously. I poke it with my foot. I gasp and step away as it moves a bit. Then, I just walk away. I do it cautiously of course. I didn't want to get killed by a half dead animal!
