With so much going on in my life, it was just odd... Where-ever I went. I didn't feel in place. I felt cropped in. It wasn't right... I took care of Raina, went to work, laughed, had my life, but there was just that feeling of emptiness in my life. I feel like I'm just watching it all. I had nobody to talk to about it. Aiden wasn't there, and I told him everything.

One month passed, filled with sorrow. Aiden's funeral brought so many people together. I was angry, but I knew the man that did this was gone. Deep in my soul, there was a feeling that I couldn't quite put my finger on. Misery. Regret. Ignorance. I call up Becca one day. "Let's check." I say even before she says hi, or even hey. "Aw! Let's do it! I'll come pick you up." She says and we both hang up. It all happened so fast. I mean, she came, my heart was beating so quickly... I felt so excited and nervous... "So, why today?" She asks happily. "I'll drive Becca. You're three months pregnant." I say and give her a look. "You could be too!" She says and squeaks happily. I laugh with her. "You didn't answer me!" She sings out. "I just felt today would be right. No work, this would lighten up everything. I'm not screaming it out though. I mean, no regrets on if I am. But... I just don't want to be the girl who's like, 'My husband just died and his funeral passed, and I'm pregnant!' That's such a slut girl. I know we're not in high school anymore, but I work with a team at work. I solve murders and I'm obsessing over my life and I'm pregnant and the father is dead." I say straight out. "You won't be known as that girl. Isn't your team nice?" She asks. "Yeah. But still. Remember in high school? That Brittany girl? She was nice, but she gossiped on everyone." I say and laugh. "Well, people grow out of it." She says and we both laugh as we get into the hospital. "Did we straight out have to go here? We could have just gotten a pregnancy test. I haven't laid on these beds in four months." I say. "They're actually comfy." She says and I grin at her. We wait a few minutes till I feel my phone buzz. I sigh and stand up. I go outside of the room, and answer. The caller ID said it was Jacob. "Hey Jake." I say. "Hey Liz Where are you?" He asks. "At the doctors' office with a friend." I say. "What? Why?" He asks. "Don't be so nosy, I was just going to tell you." I say and laugh. "We're just checking up on her baby." I say. "Her's?" He asks. "Yes. Goodbye." I say and hang up. It was a bit odd... I go inside. "Come on! They called your name!" Becca whispers and we go into the room. Th nurse leads us in actually, and we do the small check up at the beginning. We get out the ultra sound and she well.. Gets everything ready. I have to lift my shirt up and I make a face to Becca and she laughs. I grin and the machine turns on. I bit my lower lip a bit.
