Staring, I knew it was fake. "No..." I say, realising it all. I was dying. "What is it miss?" He asks, worried. "You're not real. I know this!" I say, and stand up. There was a small chance it work... I just needed to go back to my house.... Running, to my house. I look under the the 'Welcome' mat, and grab the key. I unlock the door, and walk in quickly. I look around. "Mom!" I call. "Liz..." She says, and we both hug, and I could feel tears come from my eyes, and wetness on my shirt. "I'm so proud of you.." She says. "Mom... You and Dad have to bring them back... I can't live this anymore." I say, crying now. "Don't cry sweetie... Your strong. Don't forget. You can save us, but only for one life." She says. I touch my stomach. "You... Why?" She asks. "Mom.. He or she is killing me. It's because of them this happened." I say, and more tears flood. She hugs me once again. "Do it." She says. I stare. "Me? How?" I nearly shout. "You need to kill the baby for us all to live." She says. "Where are they?" I ask, demanding. "Here." I hear a voice say. It was Aiden, holding hands with a girl... About twelve or so. "Hi Mom." She says, and smiles. I hug her and Aiden as well. "Hey Liz." He says, and grins. "Aiden... I can't leave me family." I say. "Liz, me and Lindsey will come with." He says. I begin to realise more and more....
There was somethinjg.. In his movement... In his eyes... "Aiden. I have to go. I can't stay." I say. "Your not Aiden." I add. There was a sudden glare in his eyes. "Smart." He says. I stand up, and run. I was faster.... Could it be when I was younger too? I was running towards a light. I had no idea which one... Till I was falling.
Derek Morgan's Pov
It happened again. She felt stable now, she was so hurt before... Her private past was revealed when she was protecting her family and us from it. She was protecting us, now she was dying. She felt unstable, she was even pregnant for Pete's Sake! With a man she hated's kid... She wasn't the least bit stable... I realise and park at the hospital. I ask a doctor about her. "I'm sorry, we're opperating in the intensive center right now." He says, and rushes past me. I follow him into the intensive center and see the girls. I sit with them, helping them calm down. Amy was crying the most, about how she saw her dying... It was sad. I'd been with Liz for twelve years, nearly half of her life, and nothing appeared to change about her. Her hair, her eyes, she just got taller. Her emotions changed and attitude, but nothing of her features. "Does your mom go anywhere at night?" I ask suddenly. Raina looks up. "No, I don't think so." She says. "Why?" She asks me. "She's never changed. In all the years I've worked with her." I say, revealing my thoughts. "In apperance or personality?" Raina asks. "Both." I say. "Well my mom is some lady then." She says smirking. I smirk at her as well. It was a mirror figure of her mother other than her hair was as light as her fathers'. A light brown. A doctor comes out, taking off gloves, coated in red. "We've tried all we can. My shift is over, we have other doctors on it. We keep losing her. Do you know if she was on any drugs, or if she was depressed?" He asks me. "No. She wasn't on any drugs. I'm not sure if she was depressed." I say. "She was upset. She always tried to cheer us up, and putting us before her. She kept trying to smile and be happy. She never really was though. Only sometimes." Mary says through her tears. I sit, astonished. I couldn't leave them here waiting. I call myself and Liz in sick or absent, explaining what happened.
Hours later, it was the middle of the night, and all of the girls were sleeping, except Raina, who was drinking coffee. "Does your mom let you drink coffee?" I ask her. "She does a little. She hates coffee though. She only drinks a little. Never black coffee though. She has something against it." She says, and laughs. I grin and sit down. She sits, sipping at her coffee and waits. "Do you want anything?" She asks leaping up. "I'm fine, thanks. " I say. She nods before sitting down. "Is my mom your boss?" She asks. "Yeah, she's the leader of our team." I say. "I've heard that before. Leader... You know Sam Uley? That's where Mom goes!" She exclaims. I stare at her in amazement. "How do you know?" I ask. "She's in a pack. You know that big book she carries around? She writes in it like all of the time! It has to be it!" She says. "That book is huge. Are you sure?" I ask. "It has to be! I'm going to go get it!" She says. I shake my head, and take her arm tightly. She squirms slightly. "Listen. That's your mom's book. Not any of our buisness. We'll ask when she's better. Don't mess with her things. She might not make it out of this." I say. She nods, and sits back down.
In the morning, even I fell asleep for a while. Making up, I go into the bathroom, use it, then wash ,my face. I go get some coffee and sit back with the girls. A doctor walks over- The same from yesterday, and says, "We're trying. She's gone worse to better. Almost stabalized."
