Here's chapter 20!!! Nothing like waiting years for an update.  I'm so sorry about that.  I actually hadn't realized how much time had gone by since my last update.  I can assure you that it won't happen again.

You may have to read the last chapter to remember where I left off.  To give you a littl help, Braxton is leaving for Philly for the hockey game.

Enjoy the chapter.  I made it long to make up for the long wait.

“Do you have everything?” She shouts from the bedroom.

“I think so.  I’m only staying one night.  I don’t need much,” I reply.

She comes walking into the kitchen, wearing her scrubs.  “Aren’t you going to be late for work?” I ask.

“I told Barb that I would be in a little late today.”

“She’s okay with that?  I mean with all those other days that you’ve taken off?”

She looks at me puzzled, “Um...yeah.  I was actually going to leave in a couple minutes,” she glances up at the clock.  “Then I’ll only be a half hour late.”

I give her a quick kiss on the cheek, “Sounds good.”  I walk into the bedroom, grabbing my carry-on bag off of the bed.  Kansas comes walking in, stopping in the doorway, looking me up and down.  “What?” I ask.

“Oh, nothing.  Just admiring how hot you look right now,” she says smiling devilishly.  She comes sauntering over towards me, wrapping her arms around my waist.  She pulls me towards her, kissing me slowly and sensuously.  I slip my tongue inside her mouth, devouring her taste.  Just when the make-out session starts getting hot and heavy, she pulls back.

I stare at her, wondering what made her stop.  She smiles up at me, “I have to go.”

“What?” I say baffled.

“I have to go to work.”

“You can’t just start kissing me like that and then… stop.”

“I wanted to give you something to think about while you’re gone.”

I chuckle slightly, “You’re terrible.”

“Just remember that there’s plenty more where that came from when you get home tomorrow,” she says then quickly darts out of the room, laughing.

I grab my bag, running after her.  I catch up to her in the foyer.  “Mrs. Cooper you are a tease and I’ll will definitely be looking forward to tomorrow night.”

“Trust me, Mr. Cooper… It’ll be worth the wait,” she grabs her purse and keys off the table.  “Now I’m off to work.  Have fun at the game.  Call me when you land.”
