Chapter 2 (4/4/16)
Maeve POV
I've heard of them before, yeah sure. Honestly, I know nothing about them. I know their songs, some of them. When they released Amnesia in 2014 (the story is set in 2017 and I don't know tour dates and stuff so bear with me, most of it will be made up) I was sixteen and in the marines. I would listen to it constantly because it reminded me of, well, me. I swore that it was my song, written for me. However, I was young and dumb. It was my favorite song then, my favorite song now.
But I really know nothing about these boys. I hope I won't have to babysit them. That would just be an insult to me.
My dog, Jax, barking snaps me out of my thoughts. He's a German shepherd puppy in training to be in the FBI with me. He's really cute, but he's trained really well. The only reason why Jax is not in the FBI yet is because of his size and age.
I guess I will have to take him with me. Agent One won't take him in, nor will the other Agents. He growls at my friends too often, so that's out of the question. That's okay though. It might be hard for little Jax to get used to the boys, but he'll help me protect them I guess.
I look toward Jax to see what he is barking at. Agent fucking One. Of course. He's probably here to pick me up early. As usual.
"Agent fucking One. How can I fucking help you on this beautiful fucking day?" I ask. I'm not in the mood to deal with him.
"Agent fucking Two." He says mockingly "I'm here to take you to the airport. You meet the boys today."
"Yay. By the way, do I get to take my weapons with me, or am I flying on some shitty commercial airline?"
"The shitty commercial airline. But, I've worked something out, you can carry a knife with you on the plane. The rest of your weapons go into you suitcase." He responds.
"Great thanks. And, one last question. Will this finally put me ahead of you?"
"Most likely. But I'll have you know, I am going to retire soon, so you'll be Agent fucking One by the end of this year." He smiles. "Agent fucking One. Have a bad morning?"
If looks could kill, Agent One would be buried so far underground...
"C'mon. We're leaving."

About six hours later, I'm grabbing my bags, checking to make sure that my weapons are still there. I might have a small obsession with weaponry. It's normal for most agents in the FBI. Well, the Boston FBI. That's where I'm stationed.
I look up and I see a sign that says Miss Maeve on it. Must be my ride. I walk over to the burly light skinned man. He must be one of the head security members.
(If you know anything about the security team of 5sos, please tell me! I would like to be accurate)
"Maeve Carter. You're younger than expected. My name is Dave. Have you read over the file?"
"Glanced over the details about the boys mainly. But not really." I admit.
He sighs. "I'll tell you the important details then. So the boys know that you are their bodyguard, but the media doesn't and the fans definitely don't know. They think that one of the boy's close friend is coming to tour with them. That would be you. Just act like their friend in public. Knowing the boys, you'll most likely think that they are assholes. That's with I thought my first day."
I nod. This sounds easy enough. As long as I don't kill them if they are annoying...
"Come, you're meeting the boys soon."
-//- sorry for time skips!!
The Aussies are staying in a hotel for the time being. They got a few days of down time after they had major jet lag. I'm just glad that I should get my own room.
"Good luck. I wish you the best. And if you have questions, ask me." Dave leaves my alone with the boys.
I stare at them for a minute. They haven't acknowledged my presence yet, so they are in the middle of some stupid argument. Jax looks like he want to attack one of them.
"Easy boy." I mutter. "Boys?" I say louder. "Boys! BOYS!" I'm shouting now, but they don't hear me. "Goddamnit."
I pull out the knife that was in my back pocket. Spinning it in my hands a few times, I wait for the perfect moment. Right when two of them come close, head to head, I throw the knife directly between them.
Their conversation diminishes. They stare at me.
"Well hello to you too." I say sarcastically. "My name is Maeve and this is Jax. I suggest you don't move. He looks like he wants to hurt something."
I slowly move to get my knife, the boy's eyes following me. It's rather awkward with the silence, but I'm used to it.
"You guys can move. I was joking. All though, Jax doesn't trust you yet, so be careful." I tell the frozen lads. "Jax, heel." I mumble. "Now I suggest that you guys quit your argument and meet me in the kitchen. Go." I say firmly.
All but the curly haired boy leaves. He looks at me strangely. "Maeve. I'm Ashton." Right. Volcano. "The lads are a bit, energetic. I can't really say much because I'm one of them." He trails off.
I smile at him. "That's quite okay. I'm a bit, bitchy. You'll get used to it. Now, where is the kitchen?"
Volcano laughs and leads me to the correct room. When I enter, the lads quiet their conversation. Let's see. There is Lip Ring, Rainbow, and well, Asian. And Volcano. He gets the better nickname because he introduced himself. I'm not going to bother with names.
"From now on, you are now known as Lip Ring, Rainbow, Asian, and Volcano. Any objections?"
Asian complains. "First my name is Calum, second, I'm not Asian, I'm Kiwi."
"Okay, you are Fruit then. Better?"
He nods, not wanting to mess with the knife.
"Good. I know your real names are Ashton, Calum, Luke, and Michael. But I'm not going to remember that, therefore you get nicknames. Clear?"
"Crystal."
Hey guys! Wanted to get a chapter out even though it's kinda trash. But hey, she met the boys! Yay!!
