N/A: HELP I NEED A NAME RIGHT NOW! The new character is gonna pop up in the next chapter so if you wanna have a chapter dedicated to you, hurry up and PM me a character, which includes name, height range, magic and any extra personality you want to add. And also, if you want to, you can comment any ideas about what is going to happen inside Mevolent's castle, and SPOILER someone will die. Meh, that was sorta obvious. Oh, and if you didn't notice, I put a chapter title back in. Only gonna add one when I feel like it. Hope you like this chapter, Evil-munchkins-carrying-AK47s-Army!

------THIS LINEBREAK IS BORED------

Chrysanthemum

The servant, which I found was a lowly mage called Flora Banks, scampered towards Mevolent's Throne Room. I think that's a tad bit too arrogant and self-centered, to be honest. It sounds so self-righteous for a murderer. But according to Valkyrie, who has a thing against him, he's actually a pretty logical dude. I guess we'll see, although I'd like to keep my head.

The doors opened and Mevolent sat there, on his throne and smiled when Olive walked in. "My favorite daughter, Olive. How are you, dear?" He then frowned as Torrent, Lexi and I walked in, "and they are?"

Olive smiled that award-winning smile that she flashed everytime we groaned at something. "Hello, father. I found these poor children on the outskirts of Dublin, looking for food. They're really talented, I've seen what they could do, so I told them I would bring them to you for a job."

"Excellent, new blood." Mevolent grinned. Looking at Torrent's startled face, his smile dropped. "Oh, not blood as in what the tales say. I don't bathe in the blood of mortals, it's all rumors sent to make me seem like a monster. Could I have your names?"

Surprisingly, Lexi was the first one to recover her senses. "Of course, Lord Mevolent. My name is Alexandria Sparrow, and I am an Adept, my magic principle being the ability to slow down time. I am willing to serve under you court." she bowed, which I think was too dramatic, and stepped back. It was Torrent's turn now.

"I am Torrent Ash, an Elemental. It is an honor to serve you." he too bowed, and respectfully retreated. I stepped forward and gave a curtsy.

"Lord Mevolent, I am Chrysanthemum Storm, a lowly Necromancer who ran away from the Necromancer temples. Willing to serve you, my Lord."

Mevolent smiled. "Such beautiful manners. Where exactly did you find these children?"

"As I said, near the city gates, looking hungry and tired." Olive said.

"Okay, I'll trust you my dear. Now, one of my messengers were killed by the Resistance for information, so I'll need a new one. I also need a servant to help with the construction of the new alter to the Faceless Ones, and one more to help bring mages around the palace. Who would like to do what?"

I stepped up "I'll be the messenger." I said bravely, and I couldn't believe myself. Why would I chose the most important job?

Lexi saved me "Chryssie, let me do it. I've got my speed, and I can defend myself better than you."

Mevolent looked at us with confusion "You can defend yourself? How?"

Oops.

Lexi seemed to be really good at lying. "I just have weapons, that I found off this dead Resistance guy." She showed Mevolent her swords, disguised as two small knives. "If any guy comes up to me and tries to get info off me, I'll just run or stab them."

I smiled, "Then I'll lead the mages around the palace."

Torrent gave us a lopsided smile. "You just took all the easy jobs. Fine, I'll help with the construction."

Mevolent grinned. "Then we are complete! Olive, you can escort these children to their stations."

Olive smiled back. "If course, Father."

As soon as we were out of sight, Olive's smiling face disappeared, replaced by a look of disgust. "I hate talking to my father like that. He's disgusting and it makes me feel disgusting. Anyways, Alexandria, you will be memorizing all the messages that you are given, so Chrysanthemum feel free to give her a rune of memorization."

I was confused. "Runes?"

She laughed. "I mean sigils. In the bible, an angel bestowed a gift to the humans with his blood to be able to apply runes to their skin to enhance themselves, and I like to call sigils runes because sigils are part of the Faceless One religion." (A/N: Should I make this clash with the Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare, my third favorite fandom after PJO and SP?) "Chrysanthemum, you will use your freedom to explore the castle to find any secret passages. And last but not least, Torrent, you actually have a really important job. I want you to stir up a rebellion within the constructors, but be careful. When the time is right, bring them to join the Resistance. Tell them how life in the Resistance is better than life as a servant."

Torrent nodded. "Fine. But when will we be able to go back to our dimension?"

Olive grinned. "Until Father is dead, of course!"

N/A: I know, I know short chapter. But then I'm reading Facebook Days|The Mortal Instruments by AdorkableAsh and it's SO GOOD. It's a TMI fanfic and I'm pretty sure I'm the only one in my class who even knows who Cassandra Clare is.

Disclamer:

Olive: Well that was boring.

Me: *winces* sorry I know

Torrent: Why am I so respectful

Lexi and Chrys: Ya me too

Chrys: And PLEASE don't call me Chryssie for future reference

Me: Sorry I had to make it sound convincing that you guys were kiddy

Torrent: Just say the disclaimer

Me: But I never do it! Lexi you do it or I'll kill you off

Lexi: Fine. No one owns Skulduggery Pleasant except for Derek Landy, same with the rest of the crew, not counting Olive, the 5 and the random Flora Banks character.

Me: Hey I was bored! Remember: I need a name! I will not update until I get a name, and whoever gives me a legit name first will have the next chapter dedicated to them. Also, HOW ON EARTH DO YOU TYPE EMOJIS HELPPPPPP!!!!!!!
