Chapter 6

So we got in Josh's car and it was a nice car, not bad. While he was driving he asked me "So what are you doing tomorrow?" Ok this is too soon this all happened in 1 day I just can't, even though I want to I just can't. "I uh... have to help my mom around the house." When I said that he seemed sad, but he doesn't understand this cant be a relationship. "Oh.. Alright" he spoke with disgrace. For the rest of the ride home we were silent.

When he drove in front of my house, he walked me to my door, and as in every movie you now what will happen. But I tried to avoid all the lovey-dovey stuff so I just gave him a simple hand shake. Yep, a hand shake. But little did I know what he was about to do. He freak'in pulled me closer in the middle of our hand shake and kissed me. I never knew you could grow from a handshake. I just broke the kiss early, said goodnight, and walked inside.

When I walked inside I saw Emma watching T.V in the living room. "What are you doing here I thought you had homework?"I spoke in surprise. "I didn't actually have homework I did it during school, I just wanted to leave you 2 alone, and your mom said I could sleepover". "Well he kissed me 3 times" I said in annoyance. "Really!", "Ya, but I think that will be our last ones" I spoke. "Whyyyyy" she yelled holding the "y" longer. "Because I don't want a relationship,why don't people understand that!" I yelled angrily. "Because I know you like him, so when will you except that?" she said with a serious face. "Whenever you say or hear his name you smile, when he looks at you you get butterflies, why can't you just accept you are falling for him?" She shouted. I have never seen her so determined, and angry before. Emma is always happy, why was she so determined it making my life happy?". "Because I'm not ready this is too soon" I said raising my voice, as we made our way to my room.

"Maddie, it has been a month now, that is a lot of time to get over that". But really it isn't I loved Tom, I thought he was the one for me. But I guess he wasn't. I just wish that never happened so I could still love Tom because I wasn't fully over him yet.

"Maddie, I'm sorry I didn't mean to-"
"No it's ok I'm perfectly fine" I said sarcastically.

We never really talked about boys the rest of the day, we just talked about random stuff. Then we both fell asleep in my room.

- Saturday -

When I woke up I walked to the restroom and took a shower. After that I woke up Emma then left to make pancakes.

After we ate breakfast we stayed at my house so if Josh was out he wouldn't see me and want to talk about yesterday. But Emma had to leave, to go home so I was the only one in the house.

After she left it was about 1 p.m. So I went out in a pair of jeans, some tall brown boots, a white long sleeve shirt, a coat, and a light green scarf, to get groceries.

As I was making my way to my car to drive to the grocery store I heard someone calling my name. Oh no I bet I have an exact idea of who it could be.
