Chapter 5

Ben was terrible at keeping secrets,but he was one of my best friends,so I told him anyways."Hey Ben where is Maddie, i haven't really seen her today?" he asked, "She is avoiding you,so she is behind the bus seat over there." Ugh why Ben I thought in my head. OMG noooo he is walking over here!

Just then Josh sat next to me, and said "Why have you been avoiding me?" He asked. "Um.... I uh.... well..." I spoke hesitantly, "Well what?". "I was just-" then he cut me off "Maddie, if you don't want to tell me you don't have to I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable." Thank god! "Ya, we can talk about it later" I spoke with a smile.

- At House, 5 p.m -

"Hey, girly!" Emma spoken as she walked into my room. "Hey" I awnsered. "So wanna go to the fair, you seem down and it's Friday!" She spoke sympathetically. "Ya, know what, I would love to!" I reach for my
coat and we leave.

- At the fair-

As Emma and I got our tickets we were walking to the Ferris wheel until we saw......... "Josh!" She yelled. Of course he was there with Ben his new best friend, also mine! "Hey" he screamed back at both of us. We joined in as a group and walked around the fair together. Until Emma had to leave because her mom said she had to go home and do homework, and we lost Ben like 10 minuets ago. So it was just Josh and I.

We both decided to ride the Ferris wheel because we never got to, because Emma wanted us all to go on stuff together. As Josh and I a rode the ride, he asked " So what was that you wanted to tell me on the bus?" He asked entwining our fingers. I just froze. I know I like him but this is too soon. I was as frozen as ice. I couldn't move. "Oh.. Um... Well Josh I um......-" before I could continue he crushed his lips against mine. OMG this is too soon I'm not ready i thought. But as I felt his soft lips against mine I gave in and kissed him back. He then deepened the kiss, but I want to pull back. But at the same time I don't, I'm enjoying it yet I'm afraid.

As he pulls back he whispers "I'm sorry, I just couldn't stop myself." He apologized. "It's just you look so beautiful it the moonlight." Awe! I thought. "No it's ok, um I actually wanted to tell you something" I spoke as we made our way off the ride, and to his car. "Actually" I whispered, as I grabbed his arm so our eyes met. "I like you Josh" I spoke looking into his eyes. "I like you too" he responded. As he leaned into kiss me I wasn't scared. I actually wasn't scared. As our lips crushed together I kissed him back with no hesitation. I was actually falling for Josh!
