"Hey" I said nervously. "Hey, what happened last night, and why am I at your house?" he asked me. "Well.. you got drunk at the party last night, so I brought you back to my house." I said not mentioning the rest. "Alright well can I have some medicine for my head?", "Ya" I spoke while handing him 2 pills. "So why didn't you just leave me there?" he asked me. I hesitated. "I um-" he didn't let me finish. "Maddie.... just please, give me a chance." he said looking at me in the eyes. I wanted to so much, I will. As he looked at me with his ocean blue eyes, I crushed my lips against his. He kissed me back with no hesitation. As we pulled apart he said "I care about you so much" I just looked at him with a smile playing on my lips. "I care about you too" my last sentence before he pressed his lips against mine. I was officially happy with my life. I feel like Josh belongs in it...... with me.

After we ate, we watched the movie RV, we cuddled the entire time, also during the movie we both laughed the entire time, and school was going tomorrow. Was this all just a one day thing?

After our movie day Josh had to leave, as we kissed goodbye I felt like my soul wasn't hollow anymore, the hole was full.

-The next morning-

I woke up early to get ready for school, it was going to be an important day, the day to express my feelings for Josh. As I got on the bus to go to school I sat next to Josh.

-At school-

As I walked into school it was just a regular school day, until the end. I was walking home until someone grabbed my arm. "Hey, get your f-", "Hey" he said. OMG it was Tom (My x-boyfriend). "What do you you want" I said not making eye contact. "Oh come on Maddie I know you still love me" he said. "Just get away from me" I said shoving him away. "Hey baby I'm here to make it up to you" he spoke leaning in for a kiss. I pushed him away. "Get away from me, you have a girlfriend" I yelled at him". "Not anymore, I broke up with her..... to be with you." My jaw literally hit the ground. You have got to be kidding me. Instead of him speaking back he pushed his lips against mine. I tried to pull back but he wouldn't let me. He was too strong. I didn't kiss back, I just kept my lips together not moving. When he pulled away, I was done. I feel like I'm a toy. "Smack!" I slapped him right across his face. "I'm done, I don't like you, and your an a**!" I yelled at him. I then ran away with tears pooling in my eyes. I know I still loved him, but I can't, because of what he did to me. I don't want to love him, but it's so hard. I need to love Josh not Tom.

"Maddie, Maddie!" Tom called behind me. He caught up to me squeezing me close. What the heck, can this jerk not take no for an answer. "What the hell do you want from me?" I spoke yelling. "I want you to love me again, forgive me, so we can get back together." "Get back together my butt. Listen Tom, I don't know what you have been smoking, but we are done. You can go sell whatever you want but I'm not buying your sh**!" that felt so good to get that out of my system. I am so done with him, I'm with Josh now. "Listen Maddie you are mine and no one else's, so you can choose me or no one." what the freak.. Does he think he owns me? "Well sucks for you because I'm with Josh, and he actually cares about me!" I can't believe I was so dumb earlier in my life, he is such a douche bag. "So your with Josh, ok then, you will end up with me Maddie and ill be sure of that." "As if you a**!"
