-Maddie's POV-

I have 2 weeks detention.

Because of HER little sob story. I think I'm ready to kill someone. I know I look like I'm one of the bad kids in school, but I'm not. This is my first detention, and I already know I'm going to hate it. I mean come on, who actually likes detention.

I stand corrected.

What am I saying, no I don't stand corrected. It sucks even more than I thought. I feel like I'm dead, but I'm alive.

Never mind. Pretend I didn't say that.


-Josh's POV-

"Don't you dare touch her" I said sternly, trying to move, from his hold. I wanted to punch the smirk off his face.

"Only on one condition, you breakup with her." No. I love her. No. I would rather have her safe without me than hurt with me.

"Fine."

-Emma's POV-

I'm on my way to Ben's place, because were gonna go out and buy Christmas presents for everyone together. Christmas is coming up, and I'm still thinking on what to buy Ben.

"Hey Em"

"Ya"

"Do you think Josh likes The Power Rangers?" I was looking at him like he was crazy.

"Did you seriously just ask me that?"

"I'll take that as a no."

"Look Em, I just can't find him anything. He's hard to shop for."

"And you think it's easy for me to shop for Mads?"

"Whatever" he said in defeat. I just rolled my eyes and kept on looking for the perfect gift.

-Maddie's POV-

I just got out of detention, and I'm on my way home. Josh said he needed to talk to me, so I'm in a rush. I'm pretty sure it's about Christmas, because we are still debating on what family is going to whose house for Christmas. Because we agreed on spending Christmas together.

As I opened the door to my house, I saw Josh sitting on the sofa. I could see that his eyes were blood shot and his hair is all messy. What the hell happened. This ain't about Christmas.

"Hey Josh, what happened?" I tried to comfort him, but he pulled away.

"Maddie, I can't see you anymore." I felt my heart break in two. Tears were threatening to appear in my eyes.

"What do you mean?" I asked. I could tell he was crying now. Never have I seen my Josh cry.

"Maddie, I can't see you anymore, were over, were done" was all he said before standing up, and walking out if the house.

No,no,no.

This can't be happening.
