-Emma's POV-

I just stood there looking at Maddie in shock. I now I'm probably not being the best friend I can be right now, but I can't take sides until I know exactly what happened. I need to find Josh, and kick Dylan's a**.

-Ben's POV-

I was trying to comfort Maddie at the moment, but all the sudden I see Emma walk away with her car keys. Where was she going? This is not the time!

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"To find out the truth" was all she said.

Why didn't she trust Maddie with what she said? I thought they were best friends.

-Emma's POV-

I drove to Josh's house, don't ask how I know where he lives. I just do.

-At Josh's House-

I hopped out of my car, and walked to the house. Right as I was about to knock, someone opened the door.

"Hello" I spoke softly.

Josh stared at me for what felt like minuets. As soon as he was about to shut the door in my face, I held it open with my hand. Ya, I was pretty strong. With just the right amount of space, I welcomed myself into his house.

"What do you want Emma?" he asked me. But he knew why I was here.

"I want to know your side of the story."

After him telling me what happened between them, I left. I was too tired to go hurt Dylan, so ill let the guilt eat him alive.

As I arrived at my house, the two of them were in the exact same spots as when I left.

"Ben, I need to talk to you" I said, trying not to wake up Maddie.

He stood up and walked with me to the kitchen. I looked at the clock and it read 2 am. Wow.

"Listen Ben, I know she didn't mean to hurt anyone, and that she was overwhelmed, but from the two sides of the story, it seems like Maddie needs to make up her mind. Josh is slowly slipping away from her grip, and Dylan is gaining more of her trust. Which in my opinion, isn't the best."

He looked at me and nodded.

-Ben's POV-

I didn't know what to say, but I completely agreed with Emma. I remember when she stayed in her bed for a week, just from Dylan breaking up with her. She was miserable, and I don't want that to happen again. I don't trust Dylan.

But on the other hand, I like Josh. He is a friend of mine, and he seems like he really cares about Maddie.... well, used to anyways.

All I know is just, she needs to make up her mind.
